You will be working for a thriving SME where you will learn about how a business runs and operates and the core financial activities that support that. This role can certainly suit a graduate seeking their first role in a thriving finance team. We are happy to support further study in either AAT or ACCA, if this something you would like to pursue and this can be discussed at interview stage.\nWhat will my core responsibilities be?\nAssist with day-to-day financial transactions and record-keeping.\nProcess invoices and expense claims, ensuring accuracy and compliance.\nAssist with the month end process, reconciling accounts, producing reports and financial statements.\nContribute to financial process improvement initiatives, testing new automation workflows and provide feedback and suggestions for further improvements. \nAttend monthly meetings with the whole finance team to share ideas and best practice around core activities.\nCommunicate with Account Managers to resolve queries and approve invoices for payment.\nLiaise with suppliers, requesting copy statements and analyse the data to identity discrepancies.\nSet up and onboard new suppliers ensuring all the correct information is gathered and approval agreed with the FD.\nWhat skills and experience do I need to be successful in this role?\nWell developed time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.\nHigh level of numerical ability and a genuine interest in an Accountancy career.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite particularly Excel and Outlook, and confidence to learn new systems\nGood attention to detail and a highly
