If you would like to join a rapidly expanding business that can offer up good opportunities for career development and professional personal growth, you should apply today and lets talk.\nWhat will be my core responsibilities?\nThis is a mobile Fabric Engineer role covering the Gloucester area on a range of different contracts.\nProvide exceptional maintenance services to our high profile Clients and go the extra mile to deliver to the highest quality standards in all areas of your performance.\nUse your own initiative to solve complicated technical problems associated with reactive maintenance activities, including sourcing parts & materials and seeking manufacturer technical support.\nProvide detailed write-ups of works carried out to ensure our client is kept up to date at all times.\nCarry out all works within agreed timescales and to the highest standards, ensuring that you comply with current regulations and contract specifications.\nReporting and recording procedures, including operation and maintenance logs and control measures to minimise risks.\nUtilise PDAs or electronic devices to complete works.\nLiaise closely with our Helpdesk to ensure efficient response to all works either working on your own or as part of a team.\nObserve the highest levels of health and safety at all times, including carrying out point of work risk assessments for every task to ensure the best possible working practices are adhered to.\nDeal with a variety of Clients on a daily basis. You will represent the Company and be courteous and professional in your dealings with them at all times.\nProvide a call out response across all contracts.\nWhat can I expect?\nCompany van and fuel card for business use.\nPlenty of overtime available, paid 1.5 x for evenings and 2 x for weekends after midday on a Saturday\nMobile phone and tablet for business use.\nUniform and PPE.\nTools/Tool Allowance\nWhat skills and experience do I need to be successful in this role?\nA customer-focused attitude with a practical problem solving approach.\nExcellent communication skills as the first point of contact for our key client and engineers.\nWell developed organisational skill with the ability to prioritise effectively in a fast paced environment.\nA collaborative approach to contribute to team success\nEssential:\nA relevant qualification in your trade to C&G or NVQ L2 or L3\nHold a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a building maintenance role, particularly in relation to reactive and remedial maintenance\nDemonstrate a general wide knowledge of building systems in relation to reactive tasks encompassing, fabric tasks including Carpentry, wet trade tasks, minor plumbing tasks, tiling and ground works.\nIT confident, used to working on a Tablet and updating work orders\nCurrent Full UK Driver’s License\nDesirable:\nFDIS or equivalent Fire door qualification\nIOSH - Working safely or CSCS Card\nAsbestos awareness training (UKATA)\nCSR/CSCS H&S qualification\nWe are an equal opportunities employer committed to creating a diverse and inclusive environment and welcome applications from all suitably qualified candidates.\nBuilding Communities at Lancer Scott\nAt Lancer Scott, we’re committed to giving back through hands-on support, funding, and partnerships that create lasting impact.
