This role will also involve providing top-notch service and maintenance on all installed Homeland security solutions, including door access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, and communication systems. We're looking for a candidate with a proven track record of success in this field who can help us deliver unparalleled support to our customers.\nThis position is based out of our Shreveport, Louisiana office.\nIn this role you will...\n\nEfficiently install and service all Homeland security solutions using installation folders and maps.\nPerform necessary installations and services, including running electrical wiring in crawl spaces, drilling, trenching, and related tasks.\nConnect control panels, install security software, perform wire concealment, and ensure application requirements are met.\nConduct site inspections and review work orders, building plans, and installation manuals to verify materials requirements and proper installation procedures.\nPerform routine maintenance of installed equipment\nIdentify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues effectively.\nTrain customers on software and equipment usage and navigation.\nMaintain accurate documentation of all work performed and equipment used, following established policies.\nCoordinate work efforts with the Operations staff and other technicians while building strong relationships with customers.\nBuild and maintain positive rapport with customers.\nComplete Daily Project Reports.\nKeep informed of new products and developments\nPerform a variety of marginal duties not listed, to be determined and assigned as needed.\nManage a technician crew and job site when required.\nMaintain client privacy and confidentiality.\nYou have what it takes if you have...\n\nThe ability to travel up to 60% for the role.\n Prior experience in low voltage and access control preferred but not required.\nClean background check.\nAbility to pass a state and federal background check to obtain industry licenses and security clearance\nMust pass pre-employment and random drug screens (Required by State Law)\nFlexible schedule. Must be available for nights/weekend work, as well as out of town - overnight travel, as needed\nCurrent driver’s license and clean driving record (MVR)\nPossess or be able to obtain proper state licensing once hired\nA working knowledge and understanding of electronics\nStrong organizational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks with attention to detail\nPossess a dedication to working in a fast-paced environment\nPossess excellent time management, planning, and forward-thinking skills\nPossess excellent telephone etiquette, communication, and listening skills\nPossess the ability to self-motivate and work with little supervision\nOperate hand tools and equipment necessary to perform all associated tasks\nDemonstrate proficiency in reading and understanding electrical schematics, site maps and drawings, and related documents associated with the installation and service of security systems\nPresent a professional image both in personal and vehicle appearance\nMaintain a professional demeanor with customers and employees\nMust be able to climb ladders and work on lifts as needed\nMust be able to lift at least 50 pounds\n* Experience in one or more of the following Trades is preferred:\nAbility to troubleshoot and repair other electronic components, including board level work, relays, networking equipment, computer hardware, and other CCTV equipment (both network and analog)\nSecurity Installation (possessing a LSFMA Security Endorsement)\nFire Alarm or other Life Safety field\nElectrician Apprentice (90v +)\nNetwork Administration (Certification not required, but training for CCNA, MCSE, etc.)\nOther relevant electronics fields -
