This role drives a culture of safety, environmental stewardship, and continuous improvement while partnering across Operations, Quality, Finance, Human Resources, and Supply Chain to support business objectives and operational excellence.\nKey Responsibilities:\nLead all site safety, health, and environmental programs, policies, training, and compliance initiatives.\nEnsure compliance with OSHA, DOT, EPA, and applicable federal, state, and local regulations.\nDevelop and execute site EHS strategies, annual plans, and performance improvement initiatives aligned with corporate standards.\nLead incident investigations, root cause analyses, risk assessments, corrective actions, and regulatory reporting.\nOversee environmental compliance programs, including wastewater, stormwater, waste management, permits, spill prevention, and sustainability initiatives.\nPartner with plant leadership to drive a strong safety culture, continuous improvement, and operational performance.\nCollaborate with regulatory agencies, contractors, and corporate EHS teams to maintain compliance and support strategic initiatives.\nLead and develop safety committees and cross-functional teams to build organizational capability and accountability.\nRequired Education & Experience:\nBachelor's degree in Industrial Safety, Environmental Health & Safety, or a related field.\nFive or more years of EHS leadership experience in a manufacturing environment; experience supporting facilities with 100+ employees preferred.\nExperience with environmental compliance, wastewater management, and sustainability initiatives preferred.\nProfessional certifications such as ASP, CHMM, REM, IHIT, or related credentials preferred.\nRequired Skills & Competencies:\nStrong knowledge of safety, environmental compliance, wastewater systems, ergonomics, and behavior-based safety.\nProven leadership, problem-solving, project management, and change management skills.\nStrong communication, influencing, presentation, and cross-functional collaboration abilities.\nAbility to balance strategic planning with hands-on execution in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.\nKnowledge of manufacturing processes, EHS regulations, and continuous improvement methodologies (Lean Six Sigma preferred).\nSelf-motivated, adaptable, and committed to building high-performing teams and an injury-free workplace.\nSalary Range: $93,360 - $140,040.
