This position is responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and improving the electrical and automated systems that keep our production operation running safely and reliably. The ideal candidate is comfortable troubleshooting beyond the electrical panel-including PLC logic, VFDs, motor controls, instrumentation, analog and digital I/O, sensors, industrial networks, and process-control systems. This individual should be able to systematically diagnose electrical and automation failures, use schematics and PLC/control-system information to identify root causes, and work independently with production and maintenance personnel to restore equipment safely and efficiently.\nKey Responsibilities\nInstall, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production equipment, electrical systems, and building services.\nDiagnose electrical issues and complete repairs to minimize equipment downtime.\nRead and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.\nInstall, program, and troubleshoot PLCs, motor controllers, fieldbus systems, and electrical controls.\nPerform equipment installations, upgrades, and modifications.\nMaintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and documentation.\nPartner with maintenance and production teams to address equipment concerns and improve safety, quality, and efficiency.\nFollow all company safety, GMP, and quality requirements.\nMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.\nRequired Qualifications\nHigh school diploma or GED.\nThree to five years of industrial electrical maintenance experience.\nKnowledge of motor controllers, switching systems, and electrical controls.\nHands-on PLC programming, installation, and troubleshooting experience.\nAbility to read electrical drawings and schematics.\nWorking knowledge of Windows-based operating systems.\nPreferred Qualifications\nIndustrial electrical troubleshooting in a continuous or high-volume manufacturing environment.\nPLC-based machine and process controls.\nVFDs, motor controls, MCCs, and three-phase industrial electrical systems.\nAnalog and digital instrumentation, transmitters, sensors, and control devices.\nReading and troubleshooting from electrical prints, schematics, and control drawings.\nIndustrial Ethernet/networked control systems.\nProcess-control systems such as DeltaV or comparable DCS platforms.\nExperience with automated packaging or food-processing equipment.\nAbility to independently troubleshoot complex equipment failures using a structured root-cause approach.\nPhysical Requirements\nAbility to stand, walk, bend, climb, and lift up to 50 pounds. Must be able to work in varying temperatures and manufacturing conditions, wear required personal protective equipment, and work overtime, nights, or weekends as needed.
