If so, a career as a Logistics Planner may be a fit for you.\nThe Transportation Team is located in Arden Hills, MN and focuses on planning/execution of outbound and inbound freight from around 290 US facilities and shipping locations.\nResponsibilities:\nManage transportation events and enhance carrier utilization to ensure on-time deliveries and customer satisfaction.\nFacilitate all Transportation related activities, such as understanding freight bill payments and assisting Accounts payable in resolution, entering Transportation claims.\nCoordinate, direct and own decision-making processes necessary to accomplish service goals and objectives.\nCreate and foster strong relationships with internal and external business partners such as material resource Planners, distribution centers, manufacturing personnel, customer service representatives and carrier providers.\nEnsure that issues are addressed quickly and professionally.\nIdentify and implement continuous process improvements by strategically develop, recommend, cost savings and/or service improvement programs.\nRequired Experience/Education:\nBachelors Degree\n1+ years of logistics experience or related field.\nIntermediate Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Outlook, Word).\nRequired Competencies & Other skills:\nAbility to multi-task in high pace environment.\nExcellent communication skills (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.\nStrong problem-solving skills.\nMust be comfortable with conflict management while maintaining strong internal and external relationships.\nAdaptability and flexibility.\nExperience with TMS systems.\nExcellent organizational skills and attention to detail.\nPreferred Experience:\nOTM (a plus)\nFourKites (a plus)\nSonar\nPowerBI\nSalary: $61,360 - $92,040\nIn most cases, candidates offered employment can expect to be hired at a pay rate near the middle of our salary ranges\nAbout Land O'Lakes, Inc.\nJoin us and be part of a Fortune 250, farmer- and member-owned cooperative that is reimagining the business of food.
