Also, responsible for managing quality performance, cost parameters, and customer service for internal customers. This role supports and works between 2nd and 3rd shift.\nTentative Schedule: Monday - Friday typically 8PM-5AM\n(This role may require weekends, holidays & off shift hours)\nResponsibilities:\nOversees the planning and design of products, tools, engines, machines, and other mechanically functioning equipment and mechanical industrial processes.\n\nOversees production, installation, operations, maintenance, and repair of mechanically functioning equipment, including boilers, air compressors, refrigeration, wastewater treatment, process equipment and controls.\n\nCollaborates, works cross-functionally to build partnerships, and improve processes within the organization.\n\nDrives engagement by creating a climate where people are motivated to do their best to help the organization achieve its objectives.\n\nResponsible for training and development of team members.\n\nSupervises the day-to-day operations of a group of employees, manages schedules, approves overtime takes disciplinary actions, as necessary; and resolves issues.\n\nAssigns, monitors, and reviews the progress and accuracy of assigned work.\n\nOther duties as assigned.\n\nEducation / Experience (Required):\nBachelor’s degree in engineering or related field, plus 3 years of industrial manufacturing experience OR in lieu of degree, 7 years of industrial maintenance experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.\n\nSupervisory, communication, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.\n\nComputer and PLC skills (Allen Bradley preferred)\n\nExperience in pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems.\n\nExperience leading continuous improvement initiatives.\n\nExperience defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts, and drawing valid conclusions. Skilled in applying broad knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures in maintenance.\n\nHighly Preferred:\nDairy or Food Manufacturing experience\n\nLadder Logic experience\n\nPhysical Demands and Work Environment:\nThe work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
