Provides leadership to production employees and coordinates people, materials, equipment, and processes to achieve safety, quality, delivery, inventory, and cost objectives.\nKey Responsibilities:\nLead, develop, and hold employees accountable across shipping and receiving, formulation, and packaging operations.\nPromote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with environmental, health, safety, and process safety requirements.\nDirect production activities and coordinate labor, materials, inventory, and equipment to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives.\nEnsure manufacturing processes, documentation, and finished products meet company standards, customer requirements, and applicable quality procedures.\nDrive continuous improvement in operational performance, including throughput, capacity, inventory yield, cost, and employee engagement.\nPartner with plant leadership and technical resources to resolve operational issues, implement new products and processes, and support production and business planning.\nMaintain effective production reporting and customer communication while providing hands-on operational support as business needs require.\nServe as a backup to the Plant Manager and support broader plant activities as needed.\nRequired Experience/Education:\nHigh school diploma or GED\n3+ years of experience in chemical, agricultural, or manufacturing production, including at least 1 year in a lead or supervisory role\nCandidates in the rotational Land O' Lakes programs (TAP/MMT/DMT) will be considered\nWorking knowledge of formulation, packaging, shipping/receiving, inventory control, quality assurance, and lot traceability\nKnowledge of EHS, process safety management, and hazardous-material handling requirements\nProficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word, with strong reporting, organization, communication, and problem-solving skills\nForklift certification at hire or ability to obtain certification within 30 days\nPhysical Requirements:\nAble to lift/carry up to 50 pounds\nFrequent movement including walking, standing, bending/stooping, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms, lifting, climbing and other active movements\nPerforming duties while wearing personal protective equipment\nWorking in temperature zones that include cold and/or hot environments for extended periods and may include areas where dust and chemicals are present.\nSalary: $70,800 - $106,200\nIn most cases, candidates offered employment can expect to be hired at a pay rate near the middle of our salary ranges\nAbout Land O'Lakes, Inc.\nJoin us and be part of a Fortune 250, farmer- and member-owned cooperative that is reimagining the business of food.
