We believe there’s power in every drop of milk our farmers produce, and by improving production and finding innovative uses for that milk, we add a little good to people’s lives.\nKey Responsibilities:\nComplies with all safety processes and insists on safety practices of self and others\nShows up on time, completes tasks by deadlines, and adapts to changes quickly\nPerforms analyses, inspections, sampling, and testing of all stages of the manufacturing process, to ensure quality standards and compliance to customer and regulatory requirements, and tolerance specifications for the chemical or physical property\nEvaluates non-conforming results and initiates re-sampling, re-testing, and/or hold procedures\nPerforms a variety of qualitative tests or qualitative assays on samples, and to aid in maintenance and certification of test instruments and apparatus to ensure compliance.\nWorks with Quality Assurance Managers, Lab Supervisors and staff to foster and develop Quality programs to assist all employees; assists plant with onboarding and training of employees\nAble to multi-task and keep up with production demands in a fast-paced environment\nMaintains cleanliness and organization of work area\nRequired Experience and Skills:\nMust be 18 years or older\n6+ months of work experience in any industry\nBasic computer and math skills\nAble to read, write, comprehend, follow verbal and written instructions\nWillingness to learn new skills, problem-solve and troubleshoot\nStrong collaboration, communication skills, and is always respectful\nPreferred Experience:\n1+ year of manufacturing work experience\nPhysical Requirements:\nAble to lift/carry up to 50 pounds\nFrequent movement including walking, standing, bending/stooping, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms, lifting, climbing and other active movements\nPerforming duties while wearing personal protective equipment\nWorking in temperature zones that include cold and/or hot environments for extended periods and may include areas where dust and chemicals are present\nRequired to work scheduled shift which may include weekends, some holidays, and periodic overtime\nAbout Land O'Lakes, Inc.\nJoin us and be part of a Fortune 250, farmer- and member-owned cooperative that is reimagining the business of food.
