extraordinary culture, care for our team members, give back to our communities & build a greener future.\nPosition Summary\nThe Employee Development Specialist helps LandCare team members build the knowledge, skills and relationships needed to succeed by coordinating new employee onboarding, supporting training and development initiatives and managing the Division's summer internship program.\nKey Responsibilities\nNew Employee Onboarding\nCoordinate the 90-day onboarding experience for new Account Managers, Branch Administrators, Production Managers and Branch Managers \nConduct new employee orientation, covering LandCare's culture, operations and available resources \nEstablish individualized 90-day onboarding plans and partner with managers to coordinate training, job shadowing and hands-on learning experiences \nServe as a resource for new employees and conduct 30, 60 and 90-day check-ins to assess progress, gather feedback and identify additional development needs \nMonitor onboarding progress, partner with managers and identify opportunities for improvement \nTraining Coordination and Development Support\nPartner with Division and Market Vice Presidents to identify and prioritize training and development needs \nCoordinate training programs and events, including scheduling, logistics communication and follow-up \nCollaborate with L&D team to implement training programs and company-wide development initiatives \nTrack training participation, gather feedback and recommend improvements to development programs \nSummer Internship Program\nManage summer internship program in partnership with Talent Acquisition and operational leadership \nCoordinate onboarding, job shadowing, learning experiences and development activities \nServe as point of contact for interns and conduct regular check-ins with interns and their managers \nCoordinate program evaluations, gather feedback and identify opportunities for improvement \nPartner with leadership to identify interns with potential for full-time employment \nRequirements\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Education, Organizational Development or a related field \n3+ years experience in training coordination, employee onboarding, program management or a related field \nExcellent organizational, time management and follow-through skills \nBilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred, but not required\nStrong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships across all levels of an organization \nComfortable facilitating orientations, presenting information and engaging individuals and small groups \nAbility to work independently, take initiative and manage multiple priorities \nProficiency in Microsoft Office applications and ability to learn new systems and technology \nWillingness and ability to travel\nBenefits\nBesides the great team environment and the
