Candidates must have a thorough understanding of all stages of the project life cycle, have demonstratable experience executing multiple complex projects within a stage gate & agile methodology to ensure that all deliverables are completed and approved by project stakeholders. The Project Manager will be working with cross-functional teams to ensure products are launched on time and within budget.\nKey Responsibilities:\nPrimary point of contact for customers, maintaining full responsibility for customer relationships, ensuring their needs are met and fostering long-term partnerships throughout the project lifecycle.\nPlan, execute, control, and coordinate the activities of a project core team to produce deliverables agreed upon with executive and/or functional management.\nManage the project(s) and execute activities around the boundaries of scope, schedule, risks, and cost.\nUnderstand and administer/negotiate key aspects of the contract.\nWrite, manage and administer all aspects of a Statement of Work (SOW).\nReport project status to the PMO and other stakeholders.\nWork within a stage gate methodology\nManage external, internal and capital project costs\nRepresent Company in a positive, professional manner when working with both external and internal customers\nWorking with cross functional teams to ensure products are launched on time and within budget. \nPerform other duties as assigned or required\nCompany Values\nUphold the company’s core values, Code of Conduct, and commitment to delivering an exceptional customer experience.\nRepresent the company professionally at all times in customer-facing and internal engagements.\nEducation: Bachelor's Degree\nExperience:\n5+ years’ experience in project management leading software product development \nExperience in the utility, telecommunications or similarly regulated industries is a plus. \nStrong working knowledge of stage gate & agile methodology \nCertifications/Licenses (if applicable):\nPMP Certified or on track to get within the next year \nPreferred Qualifications:\nExcellent understanding of project management scheduling tools (i.e. Microsoft Project).\nExcellent communication skills (verbal, written, & listening).\nUnderstands how to measure audience and craft communications to meet their needs.\nUses listening skills to completely understand tough situations and help resolve them\nExcellent leadership qualities and the ability to make decisions without perfect information\nAbility to positively influence others without direct authority in efforts to move assigned projects forward\nStrong ability to resolve conflicts between members of project team or as needed throughout the organization\nExcellent organizational abilities needed as multiple projects will be assigned\nExcellent change management skills. Ability to accept change and respond to setbacks with minimal disruptions\nStrong understanding of project management methodologies (Waterfall & Agile).\nStrong negotiating skills for working with stakeholders\nAbility to travel as needed to support project activities.\nExperience managing remote teams in different time zones\nAbility to lead project meetings, drive results, and risk mitigation.\nAbility to positively influence others without direct authority in efforts to move assigned projects forward \nWorking Conditions: Typical indoor office environment with the majority of time spent sitting and working on a computer using a keyboard, mouse, and monitor. Occasional use of other devices such as phone, copier/printer/fax, etc.\nDriving Status: Ability to travel as needed to support project activities.\nPhysical Requirements: Typical office setting. Required to stand; walk; crouch; or handle objects. Lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Ability to sit and view computer screen for long periods of time. The ability to see, hear, & speak in English. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, and certifications or other professional licenses held.
