Utilize knowledge of reliability evaluations tools like MTBF, Weibull, etc.\n- Produce reliability reports, and other related KPIs for senior management.\n- Recommend course of action to upper management regarding field reliability issues.\n- Effectively communicate with decision makers internally and external customers on complex issues, both verbally and using media.\n- Execute sampling procedures, and direct workers engaged in receiving, measuring and testing product and tabulating data concerning materials, product or process quality and reliability.\n- Knowledge of key supplier/manufacturing control concepts like PPAP, DMAIC, SPC and Six Sigma is strongly desirable.\n- The ability to read and interpret technical documents, procedure manuals, schematics, data books, handbooks, statistical process control, sampling plans, etc.\n- The ability to listen to, understand, and clearly respond to complex technical questions raised by technology savvy personnel.\n- Prior experience with analysis/investigations that involved chemistry or chemical interactions will be a plus.\nCore Technical/Skills Competencies:\n- Knowledge of 8D, FMEA, DFM, DFR, Root cause analysis, 5 Why and other quality tools for problem solving\n- Reliability assessment and prediction tools (Weibull, etc.)\n- Knowledge of Test and qualification methodologies\n- DFSS (Design for Six Sigma)\n- Documentation and record keeping\n- Experience with Product Development Life Cycle (Stage gate, Agile, etc.)\n- Ability to positively influence others without direct authority in efforts to move assigned projects forward\n- Expert level competency with MS Excel\n- Knowledge of Electronics and manufacturing process\nRequired Experience:\n- Minimum Years of Experience: 5+ to 10\n- 5+ years’ experience in a leadership role\n- Experience in electronics/electrical/chemistry/chemical/mechanical device quality and/or reliability evaluation.\n- Experience in Hardware, embedded SW (FW), and Device development for industrial systems.\n- Experience working in quality or continuous improvement delivering robust business process improvements.\n- Experienced in root cause problem solving, implementing preventative and corrective actions\n- Demonstrated skills in data analysis and problem solving\n- Experience working within multicultural Groups and Methodologies\n- Required Minimum Level of Education: BS, MS in Electrical/Electronic/Chemical Engineering, or equivalent\nLandis+Gyr is a global leader in energy management solutions, operating in over 30 countries and headquartered in Switzerland.
