While working closely with a program deployment team, this role evaluates client business processes, consults with clients on technical feasibility and integration of processes utilizing the AMI solution, implements appropriate system configurations, features, and services for optimal system and network performance, and validates system quality to achieve client acceptance and satisfaction. Individual must live in Canada and be fully bilingual French/English.\nKey Responsibilities:\nWorks with customer requirements to propose technical solutions\nActs as primary technical resource that collaborates with the client throughout a deployment project and partners with a customer to develop requirements and propose technical solutions\nPerforms customer system integration planning and implementation\nEnsures network equipment meets customer technical specifications\nEnsures network and software configurations meet customer technical requirements\nTroubleshoots network and software performance problems and proposes remedy options\nProvides functional and operational enhancement recommendations into the New Product Introduction (NPI) process based on client feedback\nDirects & executes network rebalancing/optimization plans\nDirects & implements new firmware, Device Control Word (DCW), and software releases with customer programs\nEstablishes and monitors system performance reporting, recognizing adverse trends and taking necessary preventative and corrective actions\nWorks closely with the Field Engineers to resolve complex issues relation to wireless communications and integrated software applications\nInvestigates system failures, registration failures, and interactive read failures in system deployments\nActs as liaison between Customer Operations Center, corporate development resources, and local project team to resolve technical issues\nSupports creation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for technical elements of the system that are effective and repeatable Directs and executes system upgrades including the network with new software releases\nCompany Values:\nSupports and adheres to Company’s core values.\nPerforms other duties or responsibilities as assigned or required.\nSupports and adheres to Company’s Code of Conduct and Ethics Policy.\nRepresents Company in a positive, professional manner when working with both internal and external customers.\nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:\nExperience with .NET framework and WebServices required.\nExperience with UNIX Sun Solaris required (vi, crontab, shell scripting, process monitoring, Perl) a plus.\nExperience with Oracle 10g required (SQL*Plus, PL/SQL)\nExperience with Microsoft SQL Server a plus\nExcellent written and oral communication\nExcellent problem-solving and analytical abilities\nAccustomed to working in an environment driven by high standards for service and system delivery.\nExcellent customer communications and customer service skills\nHighly adaptable in changing environments\nKnowledge of complex technical data systems and RF network technologies\nBroad technical depth in integration and operation of complex systems\nUnderstanding of programming logic and the ability to troubleshoot systems by following code\nAccountabilities:\nExperience in process definition and design to meet overall business objectives.\nExperience with managing cross-functional highly technical project teams.\nExcellent team player; self-starter with the ability to work unsupervised\nAbility to plan and maintain schedules.\nUses leadership skills to resolve a wide range of issues in creative and practical ways to satisfy the customer needs.\nDemonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for solving problems and obtaining solutions.\nHighly adaptable in a dynamic work environment\nAbility to travel approximately 75%, including international travel\nEducation and Experience:\nBachelor of Science degree required. (Advanced degree desired).\nExperience in working with solutions involving both software and hardware\nRequires a minimum of 5 years of related experience.\nUtility operations experience is a plus\nBusiness Process consulting experience a plus\nProject Management Professional (PMP) certification a plus\nWorking Conditions/Physical Requirements/Safety/PPE/OHSAS:\nWorking Conditions: Typical indoor office environment with the majority of time spent sitting and working on a computer using keyboard, mouse, and monitor.
