And where cities are defined.\nLOCATION\nThe role is based in Victoria, London, with the majority of the working week spent in the office and the remainder working from home and / or another suitable Landsec location. Hybrid working arrangements may vary across teams depending on the nature of the role.\nTHE TEAM\nThis role will report to the Director of Performance Management in the Group Finance team and work closely with multiple teams across the business, including Group Finance, Commercial Finance and Treasury.\nTHE ROLE\nSitting at the centre of Group Finance, this role connects teams across the business to deliver a clear and consistent view of Landsec’s performance. This position is responsible for delivering insightful monthly reporting, turning financial and operational data into meaningful analysis that supports decision-making at the highest levels of the organisation.\nReporting to the Director of Performance Management, you will own the preparation of financial and operational reporting for the Group Board pack, partnering closely with Group Finance, Commercial Finance and Treasury teams. You'll ensure stakeholders are aligned on key messages and deliverables, while continuously identifying opportunities to simplify, automate and enhance reporting through better use of systems and processes.\nWe're looking for someone who is naturally collaborative, highly driven and passionate about continuous improvement. You'll be a confident communicator with strong analytical skills and the ability to influence stakeholders across all levels of the business.\nSalary: Competitive\nManagement Information Reporting\nTogether with the Director of Performance Management, owners of the monthly reporting for the Group, playing a critical role in the messaging of performance against our strategic objectives to the senior leadership team.\nWork closely with the Group Finance, Commercial Finance and Treasury teams to ensure reported data is accurate, movements and variances are clearly understood and articulated and information included is relevant.\nWork collaboratively with the Commercial Finance Analysts and their respective teams to develop a deep understanding of the key drivers of performance, both financial and operational, internal and external, and then deliver reporting which clearly conveys this performance in order to influence decision-making.\nEnsure our month end reporting requirements are delivered in line with the reporting deadlines.\nProactively take the lead in identifying opportunities to further enhance the process to drive greater efficiency and effectiveness through optimising system capabilities\nExternal reporting\nKey contributor to the preparation of financial and operational statistics included within half-year and year-end external reporting.\nAssist with the production of external disclosures and analysis, and manage audit queries, where relevant.\nSystems\nSupport optimisation activities to ensure that their full potential is realised.\nWith support from the in-house systems specialist, maintain the automated suite of reports and build additional analysis as required.\nSupport reporting governance and feedback loop where system defects identified.\nContinuously challenge the status quo and use systems expertise to enhance all processes, reporting, analysis and insights.\nOther\nKeep up-to-date with relevant industry and economic news and use this to inform reporting and ad hoc analysis within the segment.\nAssist with other finance processes and projects, as required.\nKEY COMPETENCIES\nCommercial & Analytical Insight - Strong business acumen with the ability to analyse complex financial and operational data, identify trends and provide actionable insights.\nStakeholder Management & Collaboration - Builds effective relationships across teams and functions, working collaboratively to align priorities and deliver shared outcomes.\nResults Focus & Ownership - Demonstrates accountability, takes initiative, and consistently delivers high-quality outcomes in line with business objectives.\nProblem Solving & Decision Making - Applies sound judgement, critical thinking and a structured approach to resolve issues and make effective decisions.\nContinuous Improvement - Proactively seeks opportunities to enhance processes, systems and ways of working, while remaining committed to personal development.\nESSENTIAL CRITERIA\nAbility to demonstrate a strong track record in accurate and timely month end performance reporting.\nExperience of analysing information from a variety of sources to monitor and track performance and to predict trends.\nProven ability to work with financial planning and reporting tools, ideally OneStream and Power BI.\nFully Qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA).\nStrong Excel skills with the ability to present information in a way that is clear and understandable to your audience.\nAble to demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels, both internally and externally.\nExperience of driving and embedding change successfully.\nAbility to spot when things don’t look right, understand what needs to be corrected and why.\nInterest in the real estate and/or retail/office industries and the wider UK economy\nLife and Benefits at Landsec\nWe have a great benefits package, there to support you with your work-life balance and in moments that matter.
