Additionally, you will assist in the development and revision of IT security compliance policies and procedures.\n\nEssential Responsibilities:\nInvestigate and analyze system logs and security event data to identify potential threats.\nEvaluate systems and applications for vulnerabilities, scanning for risks and providing solutions.\nImplement and maintain security tools to protect against cyber threats.\nWork closely with other IT teams to ensure secure configuration and system integrity.\nProvide detailed security-related reports, including trends and metrics.\nStay updated on the latest security enhancements and recommend improvements to IT system owners.\nImplement and support security solutions managed by the IT Security Team.\nAssist in creating and modifying IT security policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with industry standards.\nCollaborate with business units to meet cybersecurity requirements in contractual agreements.\nProven expertise in analyzing system logs and identifying security threats.\nStrong understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices.\n\nRequired Minimum Experience and Education:\n3 years of experience as an IT Security Analyst or Network Engineer\nAssociate degree (A.A.) from a two-year college or technical school or equivalent experience.\n\nPreferred Experience and Education:\n1 year experience with API development.\n1 year experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC) environment.\nRelevant security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH) are highly preferred.\n\n **This job posting is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of all activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee.
