This individual will serve a key function in managing environmental investigation and remediation projects, delivering technically excellent services, preparing technical proposals and reports, conducting environmental research and analyses, supervising field investigations, and managing staff. In this role, you will have the opportunity to further develop both project management and staff management skills, interact with clients, and work on exciting small and large-scale projects.\nJob Responsibilities\nManage environmental investigation and remediation projects;\nPerform complex analyses for specific portions of broader engineering and environmental projects;\nSupervise field activities and ensure correct interpretations of findings;\nManage and deliver on multiple projects and tasks within specific budgets, schedules, and deadlines;\nEffectively organize, write and edit draft proposals, reports and other documents;\nParticipate in the identification and pursuit of new clients, develop additional work within an existing projects and attend business development meetings with new and existing clients;\nProvide direct oversight and management of junior staff for specific project assignments. Coach, train, and motivate staff assigned to Environmental projects. Participate in interviewing and hiring staff;\nCoordinate other work groups across office locations and disciplines on an as-needed basis;\nInterface effectively and professionally with clients, contractors, subcontractors, staff, project personnel, supervisors, and others; and\nPerform other duties as requested.\nQualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Geology, or Environmental Engineering; (Master’s degree a plus);\nLEED AP or PE certification;\n6+ years of related work experience;\nProficient in environmental due diligence;\nKnowledge of quantitative/technical analyses and related software. Demonstrated ability to perform quantitative and technical analyses;\nHazwoper training, maintenance of annual physical and respirator fit test, and annual 8-hr. Hazwoper re-certification;\nComprehensive understanding of regulatory requirements;\nExcellent public speaking, written, and verbal communication skills;\nStrong attention to detail with excellent analytical and judgment capabilities;\nAbility to effectively work independently and in a team environment;\nAbility to multi-task effectively, manage multiple projects and clients, develop and manage project budgets, and effectively manage and coach staff ;\nAbility to work evenings and/or weekends as projects require; and\nTravel may be required based on business needs and project assignments.
