This individual will serve a key function in providing requirements gathering, analysis and design, writing code, debugging, documentation, maintenance. In this role, you will have the opportunity to partner cross-functionally and with experienced developers in a technologically progressive, continuous learning environment.\nJob Responsibilities\nDesign and implement programming solutions to solve complex problems and increase efficiency of business processes through automation;\nAnalyze, design, implement and modify desktop software applications and web sites to support business requirements and code reuse;\nBuild software components that interact with various engineering applications such as AutoCAD, Revit and ProjectWise;\nCollaborate with employees and management to identify application development solutions, new applications or modifications to existing programs, capability to reuse existing code or integration of purchased solutions;\nDefine, design, build, support and test reusable components to create complex systems;\nPerform research to explore and learn new technologies as they apply to projects;\nProvide expertise to system users including troubleshooting issues, as well as identifying and correcting inefficiencies;\nClearly define systems work scope and recommend the most efficient and cost effective application programming solution;\nRemain abreast of technological advances in the field and be able to identify areas of use in the Firm;\nCommunicate with the project team throughout all stages of design; and\nPerform other duties as requested.\nQualifications\nAt least 2+ years of experience/familiarity in the following areas of software development:\nC# .NET\nASP.NET\nVisual Studio 2022\nXamarin and/or MAUI (emphasis on Android)\nAndroid Studio / Android ADB\nJSON & XML\nSerialization techniques using JSON and/or XML\nMVC/MVVM design\nHTTP programming\nREST interface concepts and programming\nAsynchronous communications\nMulti-threaded programming\nDatabase programming with C# for SQL Server, SQLite\nUser interface design & basic graphics\nMicrosoft DevOps / TFS\nRevision control / bug tracking systems a plus (i.e., TFS, JIRA, GitHub, Bugzilla, et.al.)\nTesting and Trouble Shooting\nBench testing\nUnit testing\nWhite box testing\nBlack box testing\nDebugging techniques\nDiagnose, troubleshoot and describe software anomalies (i.e., software non-conformance to specification)\nGood Documentation skills:\nCreate and maintain quality documents\nSoftware Design\nTest Procedures\nSoftware Requirements\nUnderstand relationship between requirements and test procedures\nAuthor test plans and test procedures\nBasic knowledge of “validated” development methodologies (i.e., Engineering, Healthcare, Aerospace)\nProficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Visio\nUML (Unified Modeling Language) diagramming\nSolid Verbal/Soft Skills\nClearly convey ideas concepts as it pertains to software design, operation and performance\nBusiness and results oriented\nConversant and patient team player\nLangan provides a rich array of programs and benefits to help its employees advance their careers and enhance the quality of their lives.
