This individual will serve a key function in providing assistance with the reduction of field data and preparation of survey plans and CAD deliverables. In this role, you will have the opportunity to supporting small and large-scale projects including, but not limited to commercial, big box, warehouse, shopping center and residential projects in a technologically progressive environment.\nJob Responsibilities\nCollect field data for preparation of surveys by using surveying equipment and software;\nEffectively use reports, maps, drawings, engineering plans, and aerial photographs to assess project needs and assist in project approach;\nAssist in recovery of survey control and monumentation, construction layout, obtaining invert and subsurface utility information, and photo documentation of the project area;\nRecommend new approaches and ideas that continuously improve efficiency and services performed; and\nPerform other duties as requested.\nQualifications\nHigh School diploma or higher required; Bachelor’s degree in Surveying preferred;\n2+ years of experience in topographic, boundary, utility survey, construction layout, GPS;\nFamiliarity with AutoCAD required, Carlson and Leica processing software experience a plus\nFamiliarity with current local, state, and surveying regulations;\nStrong CAD and computer skills (Word, Excel, AutoCAD, Terramodel, Carlson, etc.);\nProficient mathematical ability;\nStrong attention to detail and ability to multi-task effectively;\nExcellent analytical and judgment capabilities;\nExcellent speaking, written and verbal communication skills;\nAbility to effectively work independently and in a team environment; and\nPossess reliable transportation for client meetings and job site visits and a valid driver’s license in good standing.\nLangan provides a rich array of programs and benefits to help its employees advance their careers and enhance the quality of their lives. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as related work experience, location, market conditions, education/training, certifications and other credentials, as well as applicable knowledge and skills. Certain roles may be eligible for overtime and participation in the firm's annual bonus and performance review program. Bonuses are discretionary and based on individual job performance and the profitability of the firm. Employees are also eligible to receive up to 20 days of paid vacation time, 10 days of paid sick time and 10 paid holidays throughout the year.
