This individual will serve a key function in performing transportation planning studies, traffic engineering analysis/study and roadway/traffic signal design. In this role, you will have the opportunity to assist with the planning, design and permitting of traffic/transportation engineering, land development and infrastructure projects in a cross-disciplinary learning environment.\nJob Responsibilities\nAssist with the planning, design and permitting of traffic/transportation engineering, land development and infrastructure projects;\nComplete traffic analysis for traffic impact studies;\nUse engineering equipment and design software (SYNCHRO, HCS, etc.) to prepare engineering and design documents;\nApply knowledge and techniques of engineering and advanced mathematics;\nWrite and/or review draft reports including traffic impact studies and parking studies; and\nPerform other duties as requested.\nQualifications\nBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering;\nMinimum 3.0 GPA;\nEIT certification, or current registration for FE exam;\nPrior related internship or professional experience;\nProficiency in HCS, SYNCHRO and the MUTCD;\nKnowledge of AutoCAD, MicroStation and/or SoftDesk civil software;\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills;\nStrong attention to detail with excellent analytical, multitasking, and judgment capabilities;\nAbility to effectively work independently and in a team environment; and\nTravel may be required based on business needs and project assignments.
