We are now part of ClickHouse.\nWe're building the \"Datadog\" of this category; model capabilities continue to improve, but building useful applications is really hard, both in startups and enterprises.\nLargest open source solution in this category: trusted by 19 of the Fortune 50, >2k customers, >26M monthly SDK downloads, >6M Docker pulls.\nWe joined ClickHouse in January 2026 because LLM observability is fundamentally a data problem and Langfuse already ran on ClickHouse. Together we can move faster on product while staying true to open source and self-hosting, and join forces on GTM and sales to accelerate revenue.\nPreviously backed by Y Combinator, Lightspeed, and General Catalyst.\nWe're a small, engineering-heavy, and experienced team in Berlin and San Francisco. We are also hiring for engineering in EU timezones and expect one week per month in our Berlin office (how we work).\nLocation and travel\nYou can be based in Europe (with 3-5 days in Berlin every 2 months) or the United States (fully remote, preferably in San Francisco).\nWe expect significant travel across the US and Europe, with occasional travel to other regions when the audience quality justifies it. The exact cadence will change with the event calendar, but you should expect travel to be a meaningful part of the job.\nWhy this role?\nLangfuse has grown mostly through product-led, open-source adoption. We built a strong product, wrote useful docs and examples, stayed close to users, shipped in public, and helped developers understand how to build better AI applications.\nHowever, many of the highest-signal moments happen in person: hallway conversations, workshops, meetups, dinners, conference demos, and technical talks.\nWe want someone who can own that motion end to end; put Langfuse in the right AI engineering rooms, make the product clear to technical audiences, and turn in-person conversations into durable marketing momentum.\nThe goal is not to do every event. The goal is to make the right events excellent, scalable, and measurable.\nWhat you'll do\nRepresent Langfuse at conferences, meetups, workshops, customer events, partner events, and community gatherings across Europe and the US.\n\nRun live demos and technical sessions on tracing, evals, prompt management, datasets, metrics, and related LLM engineering workflows.\n\nBuild and maintain field-ready material: demo flows, workshop runbooks, talk abstracts, event landing pages, follow-up emails, signup flows, and conference-in-a-box assets.\n\nOrganize Langfuse-hosted meetups, workshops, dinners, and smaller technical gatherings around the highest-quality audiences.\n\nPartner with ClickHouse field marketing, sales, solutions, product marketing, and engineering teams where it helps Langfuse show up well.\n\nTurn event learnings into useful artifacts: better messaging, better demos, better docs, better talks, better customer stories, and sharper product feedback.\n\nWhat we're looking for\nYou have worked in DevRel, product marketing engineering, solutions engineering, field engineering, developer advocacy, or technical community roles.\n\nYou have spoken at developer conferences, meetups, workshops, webinars, or technical customer events.\n\nYou already create technical content, demos, videos, talks, open source projects, or educational material.\n\nYou should be excited to travel, give talks, run demos, host events, talk to developers and technical leaders, and bring what you learn back into the company.\n\nYou care about developer experience, open source, AI engineering, and the quality of the rooms you spend time in.\n\nYou are comfortable with ambiguity and can independently decide what to do before there is a mature playbook.\n\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and concisely.\n\nA strong plus:\nYou are a former engineer, or deeply technical operator who can credibly explain software to experienced developers.\n\nYou can write code well enough to build, debug, and maintain demos or workshop material.\n\nYou are deep in AI engineering, LLM observability, evals, agents, or developer tools.\n\nYou have original opinions that experienced developers value.\n\nProcess\nWe can run the full process to your offer letter in less than 7 days (hiring process).\nTech Stack\nWe run a TypeScript monorepo: Next.js on the frontend, Express workers for background jobs, PostgreSQL for transactional data, ClickHouse for tracing at scale, S3 for file storage, and Redis for queues and caching. You should be familiar with a good chunk of this, but we trust you'll pick up the rest quickly (Stack, Architecture).\nHow we ship\nLink to handbook\nWe trust you to take ownership (ownership overview ) for your area. You identify what to build, propose solutions (RFCs), and ship them. Everyone here thinks about the user experience and the technical implementation at the same time. Everyone manages their own Linear.\n\nYou're never alone. Anyone from the team is happy to go into a whiteboard session with you. 15 minutes of shared discussion can very much improve the overall output.\n\nWe implement maker schedule and communication. There are two recurring meetings a week: Monday check-in on priorities (15 min) and a demo session on Fridays (60 min).\n\nCode reviews are mentorship. New joiners get all PRs reviewed to learn the codebase, patterns, and how the systems work (onboarding guide).\n\nWe use AI as much as possible in our workflows to make our users happy. We encourage everyone to experiment with new tooling and AI workflows.\n\nWhy Langfuse (now part of ClickHouse)\nThis role puts you at the forefront of the AI revolution, partnering with engineering teams who are building the technology that will define the next decade(s).\n\nThis is an open-source devtools company. We ship daily, talk to customers constantly, and fight for great DX. Reliability and performance are central requirements.\n\nYour work ships under your name. You'll appear on changelog posts for the features you build, and during launch weeks, you'll produce videos to announce what you've shipped to the community. You’ll own the full delivery end to end.\n\nWe're solving hard engineering problems: figuring out which features actually help users improve AI product performance, building SDKs developers love, visualizing data-rich traces, rendering massive LLM prompts and completions efficiently in the UI, and processing terabytes of data per day through our ingestion pipeline.\n\nYou'll work closely with the ClickHouse team and learn how they build a world-class infrastructure company. We're in a period of strong growth: Langfuse is growing organically and accelerating through ClickHouse's GTM. (Why we joined ClickHouse)\n\nIf you wonder what to build next, our users are a Slack message or a Github discussions post away.\n\nYou’re on a continuous learning journey. The AI space develops at breakneck speed and our customers are at the forefront. We need to be ready to meet them where they are and deliver the tools they need just-in-time.","description_format":"text","description_chars":7197,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":null,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":null,"security_clearance":false,"languages":[]},"benefits":["Continuous learning"],"hiring_locations":[{"name":"United States","iso":"US","kind":"country"}],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":["MLOps","AI Development Tools","AI Evaluation & Observability"],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-09-05T17:29:06Z"}],"visa":[],"liveness":{"score":4,"band":"cold","label":"Long shot","p_open":1,"p_active":0.14,"p_room":0.28,"age_days":92,"expected_fill_days":10,"reasons":["conf:0","win:tail","crowd:"],"computed_at":"2026-10-24T06:02:35Z"},"pay":null,"html_url":"https://alion.io/job/langfuse-developer-relations-engineer-events-community","json_url":"https://alion.io/job/langfuse-developer-relations-engineer-events-community.json","meta":{"generated_at":"2026-10-25T02:08:14Z","cache_seconds":300,"methodology":"https://alion.io/methodology","terms":"https://alion.io/terms","contact":"https://alion.io/contact","api":"https://alion.io/developers","about":"Alion is a live layer of people, companies and AI agents: who they are, whether they are real and active right now, what they do and how to work with them, readable by people and by agents and paid per call.","catalog":"https://alion.io/catalog.json","usage":{"tier":"crawler_verified","counted_by":"address","units_charged":1,"used_today":3249,"day_limit":null,"remaining_today":null,"minute_limit":300,"resets_at":"2026-10-26T00:00:00Z"}},"offers":[{"id":"company.slices","title":"One company in depth, by slice","status":"live","price":{"credits":0.02,"usd":0.002,"plus_per_slice":{"credits":0.05,"usd":0.005}},"unit":"per company, plus each slice with data","note":"the employer in depth","call":{"mcp_tool":"get_company","arguments":{"id":40062},"rest":"https://alion.io/mcp/rest/get_company?id=40062"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=company.slices&for=job%2Flangfuse-developer-relations-engineer-events-community"},{"id":"market.stats","title":"A market slice: pay, demand and time to fill","status":"live","price":{"credits":1,"usd":0.1},"unit":"per slice","note":"pay, demand and time to fill for this role and place","call":{"mcp_tool":"market_stats"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=market.stats&for=job%2Flangfuse-developer-relations-engineer-events-community"},{"id":"job.search","title":"Open jobs by role, technology, place, pay and visa","status":"live","price":{"credits":0.02,"usd":0.002},"unit":"per posting in a list","note":"similar open postings","call":{"mcp_tool":"search_jobs"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=job.search&for=job%2Flangfuse-developer-relations-engineer-events-community"},{"id":"company.verify","title":"Is this company real and active right now","status":"pilot","price":null,"unit":"per company","request":{"url":"https://alion.io/catalog/request","method":"POST","body":"{\"offer\": \"company.verify\", \"for\": \"job/langfuse-developer-relations-engineer-events-community\", \"note\": \"what you need it for\"}"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=company.verify&for=job%2Flangfuse-developer-relations-engineer-events-community"}]}
