This role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring outlets are fully staffed, stocked, and that teams are well briefed and trained.\nCombining strong customer service leadership with allergen and intolerance knowledge, the Supervisor maintains high outlet standards, oversees presentation, coordinates team activities, drives guest satisfaction, and upholds company policies to ensure efficient and smooth operations.\nKey Responsibilities:\nEvent Operations\nSupervise and lead Front of House (FOH) staff, providing clear direction and delegating tasks to deliver exceptional customer service.\nEnsure all F&B outlets are properly set up at the start of the day and closed to standard at the end of operations.\nMaintain a clean, safe, and well-organised environment in line with health and safety.\nDemonstrate strong knowledge of food allergens, ensuring accurate communication to guests and full team compliance with procedures.\nConfidently respond to guest queries regarding food and beverage offerings, including ingredients, allergens, and product details.\nRestaurant & Café Presentation\nEnsure F&B outlets are;well-presented and always aligned with brand standards.\nMaintain high standards across dining areas, counters, service points and F&B outlets.\nOversee signage, pricing, menus, and promotional displays\nLead opening and closing procedures across all commercial outlets\nGuest Experience\nEnsure guest expectations are consistently met and exceeded through warm, welcoming, and professional service.\nDeliver service in line with LaplandUK operating procedures and the agreed sequence of service, acting as a role model for the team.\nProactively resolve guest concerns and escalate issues appropriately when required.\nPeople & HR\nTrain and coach team members to ensure service, quality, and brand standards are consistently achieved.\nSupport the Commercial Duty Manager in motivating the FOH team and maintaining high morale throughout the event period.\nLead by example, promoting teamwork, professionalism, and a positive working culture.\nLoss Prevention\nEnsure all stock movements are accurately recorded and controlled.\nWork closely with the Duty Manager to minimise stock wastage and ensure any losses are properly investigated and accounted for.\nCompliance\nEnsure all company policies, procedures, and brand standards are fully understood and adhered to by the team.\nSupport compliance with food safety, health and safety, and licensing at all times.\nStrong working knowledge of food safety, Health & Safety, and COSHH regulations.\nRequired Experience\nMinimum 2 years’ experience in hospitality or the food and beverage industry.\nExperience in a supervisory role within a fast-paced F&B environment.\nProven ability to lead, motivate, and deliver excellent customer service.\nConfident in managing guest complaints and resolving issues effectively.\nExperience training, coaching, and supporting team members.\nSkills & Knowledge\nFood Hygiene Level 2 and strong allergen/intolerance awareness.\nExcellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills.\nConfident using technology and staffing systems.\nFlexible and adaptable to operational needs.\nStrong team player with the ability to work under pressure.\nPositive attitude with a focus on maintaining team morale.\nHighly organised with strong attention to detail.\nHands-on leader who leads by example and stays actively involved in operations.\nConfident, articulate, and engaging, with the ability to motivate others.\nShifts & Availability:as you will be working on a rota basis with the other Supervisors, good availability between October 2026- January 2027 is essential.\nTraining and Build period on-site:October TBC\nLive Event Period: 7th November - 24th December\nPay Rate: £17.00 per hour\nWHAT YOU’LL RECEIVE\n£17.00 per hour, plus holiday pay which is paid at the end of your contract\nFree hot meal each shift\nStaff discount on selected event date\nShuttlebus from local Train Station to event site.\nCustomer Facing Role Requirements Where the Worker is in costume, will be expected to:\nRemove all jewellery and piercings (no clear replacements) - this includes tooth gems/grills.\nHave neatly groomed, natural coloured hair, and as an elf, have all long hair in plaits.\nIf worn, religious head coverings must be a neutral colour of brown, beige, or navy.\nArrive on shift with none or natural make-up (foundation if worn must look like your natural skin tone); minimal mascara, no false eye lashes and no false or painted nails.\nNo tattoos are permitted from the collar bone up for all customer facing roles.
