Purpose\nResponsible for electrical engineering, installation, testing and commissioning activities for utility-scale Solar PV projects, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, quality and HSE requirements.\nKey Responsibilities\nSupervise electrical installation works for Solar PV projects.\nOversee DC cabling, string connections, combiner boxes, inverters, transformers, MV/LV systems, switchgear and earthing systems.\nReview electrical drawings, SLDs, cable schedules, layouts, specifications and technical documents.\nCoordinate with EPC construction, civil, mechanical, QA/QC and commissioning teams.\nConduct site inspections and ensure works comply with approved designs and project requirements.\nReview method statements, ITPs, RFIs and technical submittals.\nMonitor electrical construction progress and resolve site technical issues.\nSupport testing, commissioning, energization and grid-connection activities.\nCoordinate with subcontractors, vendors and other project stakeholders.\nMaintain technical records, inspection reports and handover documentation.\nQualification & Experience\nBachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.\nPreferably 8-12 years of experience, with relevant experience in utility-scale Solar PV/EPC projects.\nGood knowledge of DC/AC systems, inverters, transformers, MV/LV systems, switchgear, protection and earthing.\nExperience in electrical testing and commissioning preferred.\nAbility to read and interpret SLDs, electrical drawings and technical specifications.\nStrong knowledge of QA/QC and HSE requirements.\nGCC/UAE Solar PV experience
