The role is responsible for promoting a strong safety culture, preventing incidents, and ensuring safe execution of project activities.\nKey Responsibilities\nEHS Management\nImplement EHS policies, procedures, and safety management systems across project sites.\nMonitor compliance with statutory, client, and company EHS requirements.\nConduct regular site inspections and audits to identify risks and unsafe conditions.\nEnsure implementation of corrective and preventive actions.\nSafety Monitoring & Compliance\nEnsure compliance with Permit to Work (PTW) systems.\nMonitor high-risk activities such as work at height, lifting operations, excavation, electrical work, and confined space entry.\nFacilitate EHS induction programs for employees, contractors, and visitors.\nMaintain compliance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.\nIncident Investigation\nInvestigate accidents, incidents, near-misses, and unsafe acts.\nPerform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures.\nMaintain records and reports related to safety incidents and corrective actions.\nTraining & Awareness\nConduct safety training programs, toolbox talks, and awareness campaigns.\nPromote safety culture through employee engagement initiatives.\nEvaluate effectiveness of safety training and recommend improvements.\nEnvironmental Management\nMonitor environmental compliance requirements at site.\nEnsure proper waste management and environmental protection measures.\nSupport sustainability and environmental improvement initiatives.\nMonitor resource utilization and environmental performance indicators.\nEmergency Preparedness\nDevelop and maintain emergency response plans.\nConduct mock drills and emergency preparedness exercises.\nCoordinate with local authorities and emergency response teams when required.\nContractor Management\nMonitor contractor compliance with EHS requirements.\nConduct contractor safety evaluations and audits.\nReview contractor safety documentation and reports.\nEnsure adherence to project safety standards.\nReporting & Documentation\nPrepare daily, weekly, and monthly EHS reports.\nMaintain statutory registers, permits, inspection
