Purpose\nResponsible for ensuring compliance with environmental, health and safety requirements at the project site, implementing EHS programs, conducting inspections and promoting a strong safety culture among employees and contractors.\nKey Responsibilities\nEnsure compliance with applicable local, national and international EHS regulations and standards.\nConduct risk assessments and Job Safety Analyses (JSA) and identify appropriate mitigation measures.\nCarry out regular site inspections and EHS audits.\nConduct EHS training and toolbox talks for site personnel and contractors.\nMonitor compliance with HSE requirements and promote a safety-first culture.\nInvestigate accidents, incidents and near misses, identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.\nDevelop and implement emergency response plans for the project site.\nPrepare regular EHS performance reports for the Project Manager and EHS Manager.\nCoordinate with contractors, clients and regulatory bodies on EHS matters.\nQualification & Experience\nBachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field.\nMinimum 5 years of EHS experience, preferably in renewable energy or construction.\nNEBOSH certification is mandatory.\nGround-mounted Solar PV experience preferred, particularly within the Middle East.\nStrong communication and leadership
