Overview\nThe Embedded Hardware Design Engineer will be responsible for the design, development, prototype bring-up, debugging and validation of embedded hardware for power electronic products.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign and develop power electronics hardware such as DC-DC converters, battery chargers, inverters, PFC and related control electronics.\nDesign analog, digital and microcontroller-based circuits, including voltage/current sensing, protection and signal conditioning.\nSelect and validate MOSFETs/IGBTs, gate drivers, inductors, capacitors and other critical components.\nDevelop schematics and support PCB layout, design review and prototype manufacturing.\nBring up prototype boards and perform hardware debugging using oscilloscope, DMM, electronic load, power supply and other laboratory equipment.\nAnalyze switching waveforms, gate-drive signals, current/voltage feedback and power-stage performance.\nDebug hardware issues and identify the root cause of failures, including component, layout, noise and thermal-related problems.\nWork closely with embedded firmware engineers for PWM, ADC, CAN, protection and control implementation.\nPerform hardware validation for efficiency, thermal performance, protection functions and operating limits.\nSupport EMI/EMC troubleshooting and design improvements.\nPrepare schematics, BOM, design documents and test reports.\nSupport production issues, component qualification and engineering changes.\nRequired Skills\nGood understanding of power electronics and switching converters.\nHands-on experience with MOSFET/IGBT, gate drivers, current/voltage sensing and protection circuits.\nExperience with STM32, TI C2000 or similar microcontrollers.\nGood knowledge of ADC, PWM, CAN, SPI, I²C and UART.\nExperience with schematic and PCB design tools such as Altium, OrCAD or KiCad.\nStrong practical experience with oscilloscope and hardware debugging.\nBasic understanding of EMI/EMC, grounding, filtering and PCB layout practices.\nAbility to read datasheets and perform basic power-stage and component calculations.\nPreferred\nExperience in EV, automotive, battery, motor controller or high-power DC-DC applications.\nExperience with SiC/GaN devices, isolated power supplies or high-frequency converters.\nExposure to LTspice, PLECS, MATLAB/Simulink or PSIM.\nExperience with hardware validation and production
