Quality Engineer

QCS for Saudi Aramco for delivering QC activities related to procurement, vendor inspection, yard coordination, coordination with Third party inspection agency, client, Inward Material Inspection Reports, Goods Receipt Note Clearance (GRN), Review of Vendor Quality Documents (Inspection & Test Plans, Welding Procedure Specification, Procedure Qualification Records, Non-destructive testing procedures and reports (UT, MT, PT, RT, PMI etc), Surface Preparation and Coating procedure, Factory Acceptance Test procedure, Pneumatic c testing procedure. Attending pre-inspection meeting, Weekly quality review meetings with client and yard, coordination and attending internal and external audits and closure of Non conformance, if any. Review of Inspection reports and Release notes and coordination with SCM and PMT and carrying out complete QA/QC activities to comply with client requirement and L&T's Quality Management System. Implement and monitor Quality Assurance and Quality Control requirements throughout project execution.

Ensure compliance with project specifications, client requirements, company standards, and applicable international codes.

Develop, review, and maintain:

Project Quality Plans (PQP)

Inspection & Test Plans (ITP)

Quality Procedures

Inspection Checklists

Method Statements

Quality Records

NCR Registers

CAPA Reports

Conduct inspection and surveillance activities during:

Fabrication

Construction

Assembly

Welding

Coating

Mechanical Completion

Testing Activities

Monitor implementation of approved quality procedures and inspection requirements.

Verify compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and acceptance criteria.

Participate in material inspections, dimensional checks, welding inspections, and visual inspections.

Coordinate Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and monitor timely closure.

Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and effectiveness reviews for corrective actions.

Monitor project quality KPIs and prepare quality reports.

Support internal, client, and third-party audits.

Participate in punch point management and project handover activities.

Ensure traceability of materials, inspections, and quality documentation.

Support quality improvement initiatives and lessons learned programs.

Assist in vendor and subcontractor quality evaluations.
