This role\ninvolves ensuring platform performance, availability, scalability, and security across production and\nnon-production environments.\nKey Responsibilities\nAdminister and support Hadoop ecosystem components (HDFS, YARN) across Production,\nTest, and Development environments\nManage and maintain Apache Spark and Airflow infrastructure\nMonitor cluster health, troubleshoot performance issues, and optimize system performance\nImplement and maintain High Availability (HA), Disaster Recovery (DR), backup, and\nrestore strategies\nManage logging, monitoring, and alerting systems using Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK\nStack\nPerform Linux (Ubuntu) system administration, including patching, upgrades, and security\nhardening\nDevelop and maintain automation scripts using Shell and/or Python\nHandle Kerberos authentication setup and maintenance\nSupport incident management, root cause analysis (RCA), and ensure SLA adherence\nManage capacity planning and system scalability\nFollow CI/CD and DevOps best practices for platform improvements and deployments\nSensitivity: LNT Construction Internal Use\nSkills Required\nMandatory Skills:\nStrong experience with Hadoop ecosystem (HDFS, YARN)\nHands-on experience with Apache Spark and Airflow\nExpertise in Linux (Ubuntu) administration\nExperience in implementing High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR)\nOptional Skills:\nExperience with Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana)\nKnowledge of Shell/Python scripting for automation\nExperience with Kerberos authentication\nStrong understanding of distributed systems, cluster management, and performance\ntuning\nFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience in managing large-scale on-premises Big Data environments\nCertification in Hadoop, Linux, or Cloud/DevOps technologies will be an added advantage\nEducational Qualification\nBachelor’s Degree in Engineering (B.E) -
