The role focuses on ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, client requirements, and company HSE standards while fostering a strong safety culture. The incumbent will be responsible for identifying workplace hazards, conducting risk assessments, implementing preventive measures, investigating incidents, and coordinating with project teams to achieve zero harm objectives.\nThe position demands extensive experience in construction, infrastructure, renewable energy, power transmission, industrial, or EPC projects where safety management plays a critical role in project execution. The individual shall act as a key interface between project management, contractors, workers, and regulatory authorities to ensure safe project delivery.\nKey Responsibilities\nImplement company EHS policies, standards, procedures, and guidelines across project operations.\nEnsure compliance with statutory safety requirements, client specifications, and international best practices.\nConduct Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment (HIRA) for various project activities and ensure implementation of mitigation measures.\nDevelop and monitor Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Method Statements, and Safe Work Procedures.\nAdminister and monitor Permit to Work (PTW) systems for critical activities.\nConduct regular safety inspections, audits, site walkthroughs, and compliance assessments.\nMonitor compliance related to work at height, lifting operations, excavation activities, electrical safety, confined space entry, and heavy equipment operations.\nInvestigate accidents, incidents, near misses, dangerous occurrences, and unsafe conditions.\nPrepare detailed investigation reports and ensure implementation of corrective and preventive actions.\nMonitor contractor safety performance and ensure adherence to project safety requirements.\nConduct safety induction programs for employees, subcontractors, and visitors.\nOrganize toolbox talks, safety campaigns, awareness programs, and behavioral safety initiatives.\nFacilitate emergency preparedness planning and conduct periodic emergency response drills.\nMaintain records related to safety inspections, audits, incidents, permits, training, and compliance requirements.\nCoordinate with project management teams to ensure EHS considerations are integrated into execution activities.\nMonitor occupational health programs and employee welfare initiatives.\nSupport environmental compliance activities including waste management, pollution prevention, environmental monitoring, and resource conservation.\nEnsure availability and proper usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).\nTrack key EHS performance indicators and prepare monthly management reports.\nLiaise with client representatives, consultants, government
