The role involves subcontract formation, commercial evaluation, contract administration, progress monitoring, claims management, and closeout activities.\nKey Responsibilities\nSubcontract Planning & Strategy\nReview project requirements and develop subcontracting strategies aligned with project execution plans.\nIdentify work packages suitable for subcontracting.\nCoordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Planning, QA/QC, and Project Controls teams to define subcontract scopes.\nTendering & Bid Evaluation\nPrepare and issue Request for Quotations (RFQ) and Invitation to Bid (ITB) documents.\nManage subcontract tendering processes from prequalification to award recommendation.\nConduct technical and commercial bid evaluations.\nPrepare bid comparison statements and award recommendations.\nSubcontract Award & Formation\nDraft, review, and negotiate subcontract agreements.\nEnsure subcontract terms comply with main contract obligations and company policies.\nCoordinate internal approvals and obtain management clearance for subcontract awards.\nFacilitate contract kick-off meetings with subcontractors.\nContract Administration\nMonitor subcontractor performance against contractual obligations.\nAdminister subcontract variations, amendments, and change orders.\nReview subcontractor invoices and payment applications.\nEnsure proper documentation and record management.\nCommercial & Claims Management\nEvaluate variation orders and commercial impact assessments.\nIdentify contractual risks and recommend mitigation measures.\nManage subcontractor claims and disputes.\nAssist in preparing and negotiating settlement proposals.\nProgress Monitoring\nTrack subcontractor deliverables, milestones, and progress.\nCoordinate with site teams to verify work completion.\nSupport schedule recovery plans for delayed subcontract activities.\nMonitor subcontract costs and budget utilization.\nCompliance & Governance\nEnsure compliance with Saudi Aramco standards, project specifications, and local regulations.\nEnsure adherence to L&T subcontracting procedures and ethics policies.\nParticipate in audits and contract compliance reviews.\nClose-Out Activities\nManage subcontract closeout documentation.\nEnsure settlement of final accounts.\nObtain warranties, guarantees, and closeout certificates.\nArchive contract documents as per project requirements.\nQualifications\nBachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Instrumentation, or related discipline).\nAdditional qualification in Contracts Management, Commercial Management, or Supply Chain Management preferred.\nExperience\n5 to 15 years of experience in subcontract management within EPC projects.\nExperience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Refinery, Pipeline, Offshore, or Industrial Construction projects.\nPrevious experience working on Saudi Aramco projects is highly preferred.\nFamiliarity with FIDIC, EPC, and Lump Sum Turnkey (LSTK) contracts.\nTechnical Skills\nSubcontract management and administration.\nContract drafting and negotiation.\nCommercial evaluation and cost analysis.\nChange order and claims management.\nKnowledge of Saudi Aramco contracting procedures.\nRisk assessment and mitigation.\nProficiency in SAP, Oracle, MS Excel, and contract management systems.\nBehavioral Competencies\nStrong negotiation Arabia\nSaudi Aramco-approved project experience.\nKnowledge of Saudi labor regulations and local content requirements (IKTVA).\nExperience managing local and international subcontractors on major EPC
