This position requires strong judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to independently manage multiple priorities.\nThis position is expected to work approximately 2-4 hours per day, with hours varying based on communication volume and business needs.\nKey Responsibilities\nInternal Communications Management\nManage the daily internal communications workflow, including monitoring incoming requests, reviewing content, and coordinating appropriate approvals.\nDraft, edit, and proofread employee announcements, leadership messages, intranet posts, event reminders, and other internal communications.\nEnsure communications are clear, accurate, engaging, and consistent with Lasko's brand voice and company values.\nRecommend improvements to messaging, communication channels, timing, and overall effectiveness.\nPartner with Human Resources, Marketing, and department leaders to gather information and coordinate company-wide communications.\nContent Calendar & Intranet Management\nMaintain the internal communications calendar, track deadlines, and coordinate upcoming announcements and initiatives.\nPublish approved content and ensure the company intranet remains accurate, organized, and up to date.\nRegularly review existing intranet content and coordinate updates or removal of outdated information.\nSupport the development and maintenance of communication templates, editorial guidelines, and standard processes.\nAI-Supported Communications & Process Improvement\nOversee an AI-supported communications tool used by employees to submit requests and generate draft content.\nReview, edit, and refine AI-generated communications to ensure accuracy, professionalism, and alignment with company standards.\nIdentify opportunities to improve the communications workflow, streamline processes, and enhance the employee experience.\nMonitor recurring communication requests, employee questions, and engagement trends to recommend improvements.\nCross-Functional Collaboration\nCollaborate with Marketing to ensure internal communications align with Lasko's brand identity, messaging, and visual standards.\nSupport internal campaigns, employee engagement initiatives, and company-wide announcements.\nHandle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.\nQualifications\nPrevious experience in internal communications, corporate communications, marketing, human resources, administrative support, or a related field preferred.\nStrong writing, editing, proofreading, and verbal communication skills.\nExcellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple requests, deadlines, and priorities independently.\nStrong attention to detail and sound judgment when reviewing content for accuracy, tone, and appropriateness.\nComfortable using technology and generative AI tools, with an interest in learning AI-supported communication processes.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.\nExperience with company intranets, content management systems, or internal communication platforms is a plus.\nAbility to collaborate effectively with employees and leaders across multiple departments.\nSelf-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working independently in a part-time capacity.\nAbout Lasko Products\nLove Your Air™\nLasko Products is the leading air solutions brand with a reputation for reliable products, peak performance, and perpetual innovation - our commitment to our customers for over a century.
