The Inventory Control Specialist will help us maintain efficient inventory management practices.\nThe Inventory Control Specialist will be responsible for monitoring and managing inventory levels, ensuring accuracy, and implementing process improvements. This role is vital in maintaining inventory accuracy, reducing carrying costs, and supporting the company’s overall production and distribution objectives.\nKey Responsibilities: \nRegularly monitor inventory levels, raw materials, and finished goods to ensure accurate records and timely replenishment.\nIdentify opportunities for process improvements related to inventory control and develop and implement solutions.\nWork cross functionally with corporate purchasing, finance, and site purchasing managers\nWork within the MRP system to ensure transactional processes are being followed\nLead and perform regular inventory reconciliations to identify discrepancies and implement correct actions\nAudit plant material transactions, in addition to monitoring and auditing imported raw materials and finished goods\nDetermine and implement processes around material movement within the organization\nUtilize historical data and demand forecasting techniques to optimize inventory levels and reorder points\nPrepare and present regular reports on inventory performance, key metrics, and action plans to senior management.\nEnsure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards in handling and storing inventory\nManage a team of 5 cycle counters\nQualifications:\nBachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.\n3+ years of experience in inventory management and control, preferably in a manufacturing environment.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nProficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Excel.\nExcellent communication and collaboration skills.\nDetail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.\nAbility to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.\nKnowledge of Lean and Six Sigma principles is a plus.\nAbout Lasko Products\nLove Your Air™\nLasko Products is the leading air solutions brand with a reputation for reliable products, peak performance, and perpetual innovation - our commitment to our customers for over a century.
