We frequently offer fun events, lunches, rewards, and other incentives to show appreciation to our employees for their dedication to our ever growing company.\n\nPosition Summary:\nLoad and unload trucks; put away and rotate stock both raw materials and finished goods; Handle transfers, loading and unloading transfer trailers; stock production prep areas; cycle counts for inventory control; maintain clean and organized equipment and warehouse.\nShift: 6am-6pm\nReports To:\nWarehouse Manager\nPRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:\nRECEIVING OF GOODS:\nReceive raw material\nUnload finished product from the manufacturing plant and rotate the product according to the proper procedures\nSHIPPING AND LOADING OF GOODS:\nPull customer orders with 100% accuracy and on time delivery\nLoad out-going orders / transfers\nAssure all loads are secure prior to their leaving warehouse\nTRANSFER OF GOODS:\nTransfer raw material as necessary between warehouses\nStock palletizer and remove finished goods for transfer\nLoad Transfer Trailers\nINVENTORY DUTIES:\nCycle counts daily\nMaintain proper paperwork\nSTOCKING OF GOODS:\nStock label room with trays /cardboard\nStock production prep areas with raw materials as needed --- (get frozen products from trailers and freezer; produce room cooler and other raw material from south warehouse)\nPRODUCTION DUTIES:\nStock the production prep areas with raw materials as needed. (Frozen items from trailers and freezer, produce from cooler and other raw material from south warehouse.)\nAssist in Production as needed\nWAREHOUSE CLEANLINESS:\nKeep warehouse clean and organized\nEmpty trash and cardboard bailer\nBACKUP DUTIES:\nBackup to other warehouse personnel as needed\nSAFETY:\nResponsible to be educated and knowledgeable in safety rules and regulations and to work safely 100% of the time; manage, promote safety for all other employees in their duties\nALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED\nRequirements Necessary to Perform This Job Function:\nEQUIPMENT CERTIFICATION: (Company can assist)\nOperate a forklift\nReach Truck\nOperate Electric and manual jacks\nKnow and understand the company’s GMP and SQF Policies\nKnowledge of FIFO and FEFO warehousing methods\nBe able to use handheld scanners\nEDUCATION:\nHigh School Graduate or G.E.D. and/or minimum of 2 years warehouse experience\nGood common sense\nGood reading and math skills\nPHYSICAL REQUIRMENTS NECESSARY TO PERFORM JOB FUNCTIONS:\nMust be in good physical shape with high stamina and dexterity\nAble to lift 50+ lbs.\nAbility to climb various types of ladders\nGood hand dexterity with both hands\nAbility to stand for long periods of time\nAble to bend and stoop easily\nExcellent eye sight with very good peripheral vision\nAble to work long hours when necessary; work overtime when it is needed\nAble to withstand extreme warehouse and outside temperatures of cold and heat\nThis job description is not intended to contain a comprehensive list of the responsibilities that are required to successfully perform in this position.
