Latitude is headquartered in Pittsburgh with engineering centers in Dearborn, Mich., and Palo Alto, Calif.\nMeet the team:\nLatitude’s Finance & Accounting team is responsible for the end-to-end planning & recording of all financial activity in the business. The AP Analyst will own invoice resolution & payment, help to maintain accurate vendor records, and support reconciliations during month end close. Accounts Payable at Latitude has a broad cross-functional scope supporting procurement during purchasing, stakeholders buying goods, and employees across Latitude requesting T&E spend.\nThis contract will be 4-5 months in length.\nWhat you’ll do: \nInvoice Processing: Review invoices for required details, code them to the correct GL accounts, departments, locations and categories in NetSuite\nPO & Approval Matching: Matches invoices to Purchase Orders during the receiving process in NetSuite to allow for accurate & timely recording\nException Resolution: Investigate PO & invoice anomalies, and coordinate with purchasers & Procurement team to appropriately resolve discrepancies timely\nVendor Support: Respond to invoice and payment-status questions, follow up on missing invoices or credits, and reconcile vendor statements\nPayment Support: Prepare payment batches, verify accuracy of payments and ensure timely payment of invoices\nControls & Records: Follow approval limits & segregation of duties, maintain professional skepticism for duplicate and/or suspicious invoices and retain clear documentation\nMonth-End Close: Help reconcile AP aging or related accounts, identify invoices received but not yet recorded and provide information for accruals and month-end close\nWhat you'll need to succeed:\nAt least 2 years of experience in accounts payable, invoice processing, or a related accounting role\nExperience reviewing invoices, assigning general ledger accounts and cost categories, and checking invoices against purchase orders\nAbility to investigate invoice discrepancies and coordinate timely resolutions with vendors, purchasing teams, and internal stakeholders\nExperience responding to vendor questions, reviewing vendor statements, and supporting invoice payments\nKnowledge of invoice approval procedures, payment controls, and confidential financial record keeping\nExperience supporting account reconciliations, identifying unrecorded invoices, or preparing information for month-end close\nStrong attention to detail, organization, communication, and follow-through while managing multiple deadlines\nNice to have:\nExperience using NetSuite or another accounting or enterprise resource planning system\nExperience preparing payment batches or supporting electronic invoice and payment processes\nExperience working with procurement teams or supporting accounts payable in a technology, automotive, or other fast-paced organization\nLearn more about Latitude’s team, mission and career opportunities at lat.ai!\n #LI-NC1\nWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to a culturally diverse workforce.
