Latitude is headquartered in Pittsburgh with engineering centers in Dearborn, Mich., and Palo Alto, Calif.\nThis contract will be 1 year (12 months) in duration. \nMeet the team:\nAs a Service Technician Associate you will work as part of the Service Operations team providing electric and hybrid vehicle mechanical maintenance and support. In this position you will also perform independent project tasks and collaborate with internal customers and team members.\nWhat you’ll do: \nMaintain and repair a growing fleet of hybrid and electric vehicles\nAccurately document all findings and track time accordingly\nDiagnose issues using supplied hardware and software combinations\nCommunicate with cross functioning teams on electrical and electronic systems and autonomous control systems\nFollow documented work instructions completely and accurately\nValidate DAT (Driver Assist Technologies), ADAS (Advanced Driver Assist Systems), AV (Autonomous Vehicle) and EV (Electric Vehicle) systems functionality\nWork in small teams as needed to complete any engineering requirements\nTrack inventory of the location's parts and supplies\nMaintain a clean and organized workspace\nWhat you'll need to succeed:\nHigh School Diploma or GED equivalent with two (2) years of employment experience\nExperience working on vehicles professionally. Garage experience preferred\nKnowledge of vehicle diagnostic hardware and software\nAble to work independently and as part of a team\nEffective written and verbal communication skills\nExpect to potentially travel up to 15% of the time for training and/or support of other office locations\nMust have valid driver’s license and ability to meet Latitude AI’s minimum driving record requirements, as verified by Motor Vehicle Record background checks prior to hire and periodically thereafter\nAbility to meet Latitude’s Vehicle Operator safety screening requirements, including drug screening and criminal background checks conducted prior to hire and periodically thereafter\nNice to have:\nAssociate degree in Engineering Technology or similar\nKnowledge of Google Suite programs including Documents, Sheets and Gmail\nAble to create, modify, and install wiring systems and harnesses\nExperience with the function, installation, repair, and replacement of autonomous vehicles or active safety equipment\nExperience with flashing and re-flashing automotive control modules and CAN (Controller Area Network) bus operation\nFamiliar with vehicle integration software and data collection\nFamiliar with the use of oscilloscope or picoscope\nPhysical Requirements: \nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of the position.
