They enable remote monitoring, diagnostics, and control of hardware systems, ensuring reliability, security, and compliance with industry standards. The role bridges hardware, firmware, and system management software.\nKey Responsibilities:\nFirmware Development: Develop and maintain BMC firmware (IPMI, Redfish, PLDM protocols).Implement features for system health monitoring, power management, and remote control.\n\nDebugging & Validation: Diagnose and resolve firmware issues across pre-silicon and post-silicon phases. Validate BMC functionality with server platforms and OS environments.\n\nSecurity & Compliance: Ensure secure boot, firmware update mechanisms, and compliance with industry standards. Implement authentication, encryption, and role-based access control.\n\nCollaboration: Work with hardware, BIOS, and cloud teams to integrate system management solutions. Support OEM/ODM partners in platform bring-up and deployment.\n\nSystem Monitoring: Enable telemetry, logging, and alerting for system health and performance.\n\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.\n\n3+ years in embedded firmware or server management.\n\nProficiency in C/C++ and embedded systems programming.\n\nFamiliarity with ARM/x86 architectures, Linux kernel, device drivers.\n\nKnowledge of IPMI, Redfish, PLDM, SMBus, I2C, PCIe.\n\nDebugging tools (JTAG, logic analyzers, protocol analyzers).\n\nStrong problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional teamwork.\n\nExperience with cloud-managed servers, security hardening, and virtualization environments.\n\nAdditional Information:\nThis position requires a successful background and reference checks and satisfactory proof of your right to work in:\nTaiwanLattice recognizes that employees are its greatest asset and the driving force behind success in a highly competitive, global industry.
