The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining BMC firmware for enterprise and data center server platforms, working closely with hardware, BIOS, system validation, and customer teams.\nResponsibilities:\nDesign, develop, debug, and maintain BMC firmware for server and data center platforms.\n\nDevelop and integrate BMC features based on Redfish, IPMI, MCTP, PLDM, SMBus/I2C, and other server management standards.\n\nWork with OpenBMC / MegaRAC-based BMC firmware and related software components.\n\nDevelop and maintain BMC applications, services, drivers, and middleware using C/C++ and Linux.\n\nAnalyze and resolve complex BMC firmware issues, including system management, sensor, fan, power, thermal, and platform initialization problems.\n\nIntegrate BMC firmware with server hardware, BIOS, CPU, PCIe devices, storage, networking, and other platform components.\n\nPerform firmware bring-up, debugging, performance optimization, and issue root-cause analysis.\n\nCollaborate with hardware, BIOS, validation, and system engineering teams to deliver complete server platforms.\n\nParticipate in code reviews, design reviews, technical discussions, and continuous improvement of firmware development processes.\n\nSupport customer issues and provide technical solutions for production and field problems.\n\nContribute to automated testing, CI/CD, and firmware quality improvement.\n\nRequired Qualifications:\nBachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.\n\n3+ years of software or firmware development experience.\n\nStrong programming skills in C/C++.\n\nSolid experience with Linux, including debugging and system-level development.\n\nExperience in BMC, server firmware, embedded systems, or system management software.\n\nFamiliarity with Redfish, IPMI, MCTP, PLDM, SMBus/I2C, SPI, UART, or PCIe.\n\nGood understanding of computer architecture and server hardware.\n\nExperience with firmware debugging, log analysis, and root-cause analysis.\n\nGood communication and teamwork skills.\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience with OpenBMC, MegaRAC, or other BMC firmware platforms.\n\nExperience developing or integrating Redfish APIs and services.\n\nExperience with AST2600 / AST2700 or other BMC SoCs.\n\nExperience with D-Bus, Yocto, systemd, U-Boot, Linux kernel, or device drivers.\n\nExperience with MCTP, PLDM, SPDM, PCIe, NC-SI, or SMBus.\n\nExperience with AMD, Intel, or NVIDIA server platforms.\n\nExperience with OCP server specifications and standards.\n\nExperience with Git, GitLab, CI/CD, automated testing, or other software development tools.\n\nExperience working with hyperscale, cloud, or data center server platforms is a plus.\n\nExperience troubleshooting complex hardware/firmware integration issues is highly desirable.\n\nSkills:\nBMC Firmware Development\n\nEmbedded Linux\n\nC / C++\n\nRedfish / IPMI\n\nMCTP / PLDM\n\nLinux Kernel / Device Driver\n\nSMBus / I2C / SPI / UART\n\nServer Hardware Architecture\n\nFirmware Debugging\n\nGit / CI/CD\n\nWhat You Will Work On\nYou will work on next-generation server and data center management solutions, developing BMC firmware and management technologies for leading server platforms.
