This leader will own firmware development, integration, validation, release, and lifecycle management of the multiple firmware stacks. The ideal candidate combines deep embedded firmware expertise, security architecture knowledge, datacentre platform management experience, and proven success building and scaling world-class engineering organizations.\nResponsibilities\nEstablish and Lead the team in Lattice Pune, building a world-class firmware development team responsible for architecture, development, integration, validation, security, and release of multiple firmware products\nDefine secure firmware development lifecycle processes including architecture reviews, threat modelling, code reviews, security validation, firmware signing, release governance, and compliance readiness\nCollaborate closely with ASIC Architecture, RTL Design, Verification, FPGA, Security, Product Engineering, QA, and Solutions organizations to ensure successful silicon and product delivery\nEstablish firmware bring-up, validation, debug, and system integration strategies across pre-silicon and post-silicon environments.\nDrive firmware requirements for OCP, security certifications, FIPS readiness, penetration testing support, and security audit activities\nPartner with customers, strategic partners, hyperscale’s, and platform vendors to ensure firmware capabilities align with emerging datacentre and infrastructure requirements\nRecruit, mentor, and develop high-performing firmware architects, technical leaders, and engineers while fostering a strong engineering culture centered on innovation, quality, execution, and customer success.\nReport program health, risks, dependencies, and execution status to executive leadership with a clear and consistent cadence.\nLeverage Generative AI tools to accelerate software development, documentation, design reviews, testing, debugging, and engineering productivity across the organization\nRequired Skills & Experience\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.\nMinimum 15+ years of engineering and solutions development experience, including at least 5 years leading and building engineering or solutions teams at the manager or director level.\nExperience in semiconductor, security silicon, FPGA, server infrastructure, BMC, networking, or datacenter industries strongly preferred.\nStrong experience delivering production firmware for complex SoCs, controllers, ASICs, FPGAs, BMCs, security processors, or datacenter platforms.\nDeep expertise in embedded firmware architecture, RUST, C/C++, RTOS, secure firmware, boot loaders, BSP development, firmware update frameworks, and system software.\nExperience with Caliptra, OpenTitan, Open Compute Project security initiatives, SPDM, MCTP, PLDM, or similar security and management frameworks is highly desirable\nStrong understanding of classical cryptography and emerging post-quantum cryptography technologies including ML-DSA, ML-KEM, LMS, XMSS, and crypto-agility architectures\nExperience developing firmware for embedded processors such as RISC-V, ARM Cortex-M, security controllers, or platform management controllers.\nStrong understanding of hardware/software co-design and collaboration with ASIC architecture, RTL, verification, and silicon bring-up teams.\nWorking knowledge of firmware security validation, threat modeling, secure debug, vulnerability management, and compliance processes.\nExperience driving software quality and release processes in large-scale global engineering organizations.\nDemonstrated proficiency using Generative AI productivity tools to improve engineering productivity, software development efficiency, and organizational effectiveness\nStrong leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and executive presentation skills.\nLattice recognizes that employees are its greatest asset and the driving force behind success in a highly competitive, global industry.
