This position is an opportunity to be part of a dynamic team with ample opportunity to contribute, learn and grow.\nAccountabilities:\nResponsible for development and architecture of Lattice EDA toolchain covering synthesis, place & route and timing analysis.\nCollaborate with Place & Route, Timing, Database & GUI teams to deliver a high quality and standards compliant EDA stack.\nStarting from Marketing requirements, help frame the architectural & engineering specification for new features and ensure that the actual implementation satisfies marketing requirements.\nMaintain high standards of architecture-quality, performance, and reliability.\nOwn Spec and Plan process for EDA suite and contribute to the same for P&R & Timing tool components.\nImprove development methodologies and processes.\nQualifications:\nBS/MS/PhD Electrical Engineering or Computer Science\n15+ years of experience in software development for FPGA or ASIC EDA software.\nDeep familiarity with commercial FPGA tools and operation flow.\nProficiency in FPGA design tools like synthesis, place & route and timing analysis tools.\nStrong background in object-oriented programming, data structures and algorithms\nKnowledge of shell, TCL or Python scripting.\nDetail oriented and must possess independent problem-solving skills.\nMust be able to drive projects and lead a discussion.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills, and collaboration skill with the ability to work with multiple groups.\nLattice recognizes that employees are its greatest asset and the driving force behind success in a highly competitive, global industry.
