This position requires knowledge and experience in the entire FPGA development tool flow from design entry to place-and-route and timing closure. Preferred skills include simulation, scripting, and RTL design experience. Experience with Lattice FPGA design software tools is a plus.\nKey Responsibilities\nEnable FPGA software tool adoption through:\n\nConducting analysis of tool capabilities and user requirements.\n\nPreparing documentation and best practices for tool usage.\n\nDelivering training sessions and user enablement programs.\n\nProvide ITAR compliant support, ensuring adherence to export control regulations and internal processes.\n\nCollaborate with engineering teams to improve workflows and tool integration.\n\nTroubleshoot and resolve issues related to FPGA development tools and operating environments.\n\nStrong expertise in scripting/programming and comfortable using AI tools and frameworks for automation\n\nAct as a subject matter expert for FPGA design flows, assisting customers and internal teams.\n\nPreferred Qualification (Requirements)\nThe following experience and skills are required for this position:\n\nMust be a U.S. person for Aerospace and Defense market segment support\n\nBSEE or similar degree\n\n5+ years of FPGA design tool experience (e.g., Radiant, Diamond, Quartus, Vivado)\n\nStrong understanding and experience in Verilog/VHDL/SystemVerilog\n\nStrong understanding and experience in logic synthesis tools such as Synplify Pro\n\nStrong understanding and experience in FPGA implementation flow such as place-and-route, static timing analysis, and timing closure\n\nSolid experience working with Linux environments, with the ability to manage and troubleshoot OS-level issues as needed\n\nOutstanding English communication skills, both written and verbal\n\nAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment\n\nThe following experience and skills are a plus for this position:\nExperience with a variety of EDA software simulation tools for FPGA development, including ModelSim/QuestaSim, VCS, and/or Xcelium\n\nGood understanding of FPGA architecture and applications\n\nHands-on FPGA development experience, including verification\n\nScripting languages such as TCL, Perl, or Python\n\nPay & Benefits\nConsistent with Lattice Semiconductor values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity.
