In this role, you will work closely with hardware, platform, and software teams to design, develop, integrate, and debug firmware and low-level software components. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience in firmware development, solid system-level knowledge, and a passion for solving complex technical challenges across embedded and server environments.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign, develop, and maintain firmware drivers and low-level software components for server platforms.\n\nDevelop and integrate firmware features to support platform and customer requirements.\n\nDebug and resolve firmware, hardware, and system-level issues across the software stack.\n\nCollaborate with hardware, BIOS/BMC, platform, and software teams during product development and validation.\n\nSupport system bring-up, integration, validation, and issue resolution throughout the product lifecycle.\n\nAnalyze system behavior, identify root causes, and implement robust solutions.\n\nContribute to technical discussions, code reviews, and continuous improvement of firmware development practices.\n\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or a related engineering discipline.\n\n5+ years of experience in firmware, embedded software, or system software development.\n\nExperience in firmware and device driver development.\n\nStrong C programming skills.\n\nSolid understanding of system-level architecture and hardware-software interactions.\n\nExperience with embedded software development and operating system concepts.\n\nStrong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience developing firmware in bare-metal and/or RTOS environments.\n\nFamiliarity with Zephyr, Linux, or other embedded operating systems is a plus.\n\nKnowledge of server architecture and server platform technologies.\n\nExperience with server management technologies (e.g., BMC, Redfish, IPMI) is a plus.\n\nPreferred Skills\nStrong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis capabilities.\n\nAbility to work effectively in a cross-functional engineering environment.\n\nGood communication and technical documentation skills.\n\nSelf-motivated and capable of driving tasks independently in a fast-paced development environment.\n\nIdeal Candidate\nA hands-on firmware engineer with strong low-level software expertise, solid system knowledge, and an interest in server technologies.
