The selected candidate should be involved in driving technical excellence and shape the architecture of our firmware systems. This position is an opportunity to be part of a dynamic team with ample opportunity to contribute, learn, innovate, and grow. It will also provide an opportunity to contribute to software development activities.\nRoles/Responsibility specifics:\n· This position is in Pune, India.\n· The candidate will be involved in driving technical strategy and architecture for firmware systems.\n· The candidate will lead complex design and integration efforts across multiple projects.\n· The candidate will act as a technical mentor to junior and senior engineers\n· The candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams (hardware, software, product) to deliver integrated solutions.\n· The candidate will actively participate in Code Reviews to ensure code quality.\n· The candidate will ensure scalability, reliability and performance at a system level.\nQualification:\n· Bachelor’s/Master’s in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.\n· 10+ years of experience in firmware development for embedded systems.\nExpertise in programming languages such as C/C++.\nStrong background in RTOS and system-level design.\nExperience in hardware-software co-design.\nDemonstrated ability in performance optimization at scale.\nPreferred Skills (Good to Have):\nPython programming\nExperience with ARM architectures, FPGA, microcontrollers.\nFamiliarity with I2C, SPI, UART, PCIe.\nKnowledge of digital design, CMOS technology, basic electronics\nPrior experience in technical leadership or project ownership.\nLattice recognizes that employees are its greatest asset and the driving force behind success in a highly competitive, global industry.
