In this role, you will participate in the development, debugging, and maintenance of UEFI BIOS firmware. You will work closely with experienced engineers to develop new features, resolve technical issues, and contribute to the delivery of high-quality firmware solutions.\nKey responsibilities:\nParticipate in the development, debugging, and maintenance of UEFI BIOS firmware.\n\nAssist in implementing new BIOS features and enhancing existing firmware functionality.\n\nInvestigate, analyze, and resolve firmware issues during development and validation.\n\nProvide technical support to internal team member and customer.\n\nSupport internal teams and customers in troubleshooting firmware-related issues.\n\nCommunicate and coordinate effectively with project stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle.\n\nParticipate in code reviews, testing activities, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance firmware quality and reliability.\n\nQualifications:\nBachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, Information Engineering, or a related field.\n\nKnowledge of C, C++, and Assembly programming.\n\nBasic understanding of computer architecture and embedded systems.\n\nStrong problem-solving and analytical skills.\n\nGood communication and teamwork abilities.\n\nBasic English communication skills in reading, writing, speaking, and listening.\n\nWillingness to travel domestically or internationally as required.\n\nPreferred:\nFamiliarity with x86 architecture and UEFI BIOS concepts.\n\nKnowledge of EDK II, Driver Interfaces, Library Classes, and UEFI Protocols.\n\nExperience with Robot Framework, Cmocka, or other testing frameworks is a plus.\n\nAdditional Information:\nThis position requires a successful background and reference checks and satisfactory proof of your right to work in:\nTaiwanLattice recognizes that employees are its greatest asset and the driving force behind success in a highly competitive, global industry.
