What you'll be doing

  • Coordinating key employee lifecycle administration, including offers, onboarding, employment changes and offboarding.

  • Maintaining accurate and compliant employee records, HR systems and documentation, including safety screening, right-to-work checks and accreditation requirements.

  • Providing timely and helpful support to employees and managers, responding to queries and escalating more complex matters where required.

  • Supporting the administration of learning and development activities, including training logistics, provider coordination, attendance and participant communication.

  • Maintaining the Learning Management System (LMS), supporting users, managing course information and producing participation and completion reports.

  • Managing shared inboxes, invoices and general administration to keep People Experience and learning activities running smoothly.

  • Providing administrative support across the broader People team, including projects and initiatives across Diversity, Inclusion & Belonging and Health, Safety & Wellbeing.

  • Contributing to continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to streamline processes and improve the employee experience.

What we're looking for (key selection criteria)

  • Demonstrated administrative experience, preferably within HR, Learning & Development, Safety, or Recruitment environments.

  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Strong organisational and administrative skills, including high attention to detail, time management, and the ability to manage competing priorities.

  • Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.

  • Experience monitoring shared inboxes and escalating queries appropriately to ensure timely resolution.

  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

  • Commitment to continuous improvement and a proactive approach to streamlining processes and systems.

  • Understanding of, or a demonstrated commitment to upholding, Child Safe Standards in the workplace.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with people from diverse backgrounds.

  • Demonstrated commitment to the values of Launch Housing and our mission to end homelessness.
