Experience with both platforms is not required.\n\nResponsibilities:\n\n- Design and develop distributed backend services.\n\n- Build integrations with BigQuery or Databricks.\n\n- Contribute to intelligent SQL query-routing functionality.\n\n- Work on compatibility and reliability across analytical database engines.\n\n- Improve query execution workflows and failure handling.\n\n- Collaborate with the engineering team on architecture and platform improvements.\n\nRequirements:\n\n- 5+ years of experience in Backend/Software Engineering.\n\n- 1+ year of experience with Distributed Systems.\n\n- 2+ years of hands-on experience with either Google BigQuery/GCP or Databricks/Spark/Lakehouse.\n\n- 2+ years of experience with SQL dialects, query processing, and analytical database engine integration.\n\n- Strong experience building reliable and scalable distributed services.\n\n- Solid understanding of concurrency, fault tolerance, and error handling.\n\n- Strong SQL skills and understanding of analytical database engines.\n\n- Familiarity with SQL dialect differences and engine-specific behavior.\n\n- Experience working with analytical workloads and data-processing platforms.\n\n- Availability to work until 11 AM PST.\n\nNice to Have:\n\n- Python development experience.\n\n- Experience with SQL parsing, AST manipulation, or query planning.\n\n- Knowledge of database and query engine internals.\n\n- Experience with Apache Arrow, Iceberg, or Delta Lake.\n\n- Experience with query routing, SQL gateways, or database proxy development.\n\n- Experience with Snowflake, DuckDB, or ClickHouse.\n\n- Previous experience migrating analytical workloads between database engines.\n\nCompany offers:\n\n- Long-term employment with possibilities for
