Join us\nReporting to the Site Supervisor and working as an integral member of the maintenance team, the Electrical Instrumentation & Control Technician is responsible for performing preventive maintenance work orders, as well as installing, maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing industrial instrumentation and control equipment.\nWHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE\nDemonstrate an ongoing commitment to health and safety by following our customers' safety rules and procedures.\nProactively respond to customer needs while delivering exceptional service.\nComplete work efficiently while meeting project schedules and quality standards.\nInstall, maintain, troubleshoot and repair instrumentation and control equipment.\nMaintain a clean, organized and safe work environment.\nCollaborate effectively with team members and customer representatives.\nAccurately complete timesheets, service reports and all required documentation.\nESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS TO BE SUCCESSFUL\nDiploma of College Studies (DEC) in Electrical Engineering Technology or a related technical diploma (AEC or equivalent).\nRelevant experience in industrial instrumentation and control.\nClass C Licence (or eligibility to obtain one).\nExperience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs).\nAbility to work under pressure and manage changing priorities.\nWritten and verbal communication skills in French\nWritten and verbal communication skills in English would be considered an asset\nWORK CONDITIONS\nAs our teams support projects at various industrial sites, assignments may vary depending on operational needs.\nCandidates must be willing to work different schedules, including:\nRegular daytime schedule, Monday to Friday.\n7 days on / 7 days off rotation (7/7).\n14 days on / 14 days off rotation (14/14).\nFly-in/Fly-out assignments, when required by project needs.\nTravel to customer sites throughout Quebec.\nABOUT US\nLaurentide’s purpose is To Help Industry Thrive in Eastern Canada.
