Join us\nUnder the supervision of the Operations Supervisor and as an integral part of a maintenance team, the technician will be responsible for carrying out vibration and predictive monitoring, analyzing data and drawing up reports and recommendations. They will be interacting on a regular basis with our customers to help them avoid unplanned shutdowns.\nWHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE\nPerform vibration, thermographic and ultrasonic measurements on industrial equipment.\nPerform oil collections for condition analysis.\nPerform data analysis using software and document the results.\nDevelop reports and make technical recommendations and interact with clients.\nPerform precision corrective work including dynamic balancing, laser and geometric alignment in industrial plants.\nWork on implementation programs and improvement of plant reliability (lubrication program and optimization of preventive maintenance).\nESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS TO BE SUCCESSFUL\nDEP or DEC in mechanical engineering or industrial maintenance\nExperience is an asset but not mandatory\nAbility to demonstrate expertise in the clients’ best interest.\nProfessional attitude, ease in communicating with people, autonomy and initiative\nCommunication skills, written and verbal, in French\nWritten and verbal communication skills in English would be considered an asset\nAble to write concise and meaningful reports that ensure understanding of recommendations\nAvailable to travel within Eastern Canada\nComputer skills, Windows & MS Office environment\nWORK LOCATION: Montreal - Travelling required\nABOUT US\nLaurentide’s purpose is To Help Industry Thrive in Eastern Canada.
