Today, we're on track to exceed $100 million in annual revenue, and we have offices in London, New York, Austin, and Phoenix.\nSo if you want your work to have real, tangible impact as we redefine an entire industry, Lawhive is where you can make it happen.\nWhat You'll Do\nAs a People Associate at Lawhive, you'll play a vital role in supporting the employee experience across the entire lifecycle, for our teams in both the UK and US. You'll help build smooth, scalable processes that put people first and empower our team to do their best work.\nYou'll join a small, hands-on People team, which means real exposure to every part of HR and projects that are yours to own end to end.\nKey responsibilities:\nOwn and manage new starter onboarding from contract creation through to day one. This includes preparing contracts and addendums, welcome materials and induction sessions, and making sure all accounts, tools and equipment are set up ahead of their start\n\nBe the main point of contact for new joiners throughout pre-boarding, knowing when and how to keep them informed and engaged\n\nManage employee lifecycle admin, including contract changes, letters and documentation at every stage\n\nHandle offboarding processes to ensure smooth transitions and compliance\n\nManage probation processes, including setting up probation reviews and tracking them through to completion\n\nMaintain and audit employee data in our HRIS (HiBob), keeping records accurate and up to date\n\nSupport monthly UK and US payroll, preparing accurate inputs and working closely with our People and Finance teams\n\nAct as the first point of contact for employee queries on people topics, systems and payroll, escalating where needed\n\nSupport key people projects, including performance cycles, pay reviews and benefits rollouts\n\nHelp drive engagement by supporting internal initiatives around culture, wellbeing, learning & development, and DEI\n\nContribute to ongoing process improvements by identifying inefficiencies, updating documentation, and taking ownership of projects to streamline onboarding and operational workflows\n\nWhat You'll Bring\n1-3 years of experience in People Operations, HR coordination or similar roles, ideally in a startup, scale-up or small HR team\n\nHands-on experience managing onboarding, including preparing contracts and handling contract changes\n\nExposure to the full employee lifecycle, from onboarding through to offboarding\n\nSome exposure to payroll (UK, US or both is a bonus)\n\nExperience working with colleagues or processes outside the UK, particularly the US, is a big plus\n\nFamiliarity with HR tools (e.g. HiBob, Ashby, Notion or similar) and comfort with handling sensitive data\n\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills\n\nHigh attention to detail, with strong organisational and problem-solving skills\n\nA proactive mindset: you spot inefficiencies and improve them\n\nA people-first attitude and genuine interest in helping teams thrive\n\nInterview process\nIntroductory call with our Talent team\n\n1:1 with your hiring manager\n\nValues interview with our Director of People & Talent\n\nWe offer!\n\nUK Benefits:\nMeaningful early-stage equity at one of Europe’s fastest-growing startups\n\n25 days of holiday plus bank holidays, and an extra day for your birthday, moving day and wedding day, with the opportunity to earn up to 5 more days with tenure!\n\nPrivate Medical Insurance via Bupa (including subsidised gym membership)\n\nCycle to work scheme\n\nNursery benefits\n\nPension contribution via Nest\n\nWork from anywhere for a month\n\nTop-spec MacBook\n\nRegular team-building activities and socials!\n\nDiversity at Lawhive\nAt Lawhive, we know that diversity of thought is critical to delivering outlier outcomes.
