Senior Quality Engineer, Test Automation & Release Quality
We're hiring a Senior Quality Engineer to strengthen how LawnStarter ships software across our marketplace platform. This role sits at the intersection of engineering and product, focused on building confidence into every release before it reaches customers.
In this role, you will:
- Own and evolve automated testing coverage across our web and mobile products
- Work directly with engineering pods to bake quality checks into the development process, not bolt them on after
- Lead root-cause investigations when production issues surface, coordinating across teams to close the loop
- Strengthen our CI/CD pipeline's testing infrastructure
- Coach engineers on writing better tests and thinking about edge cases earlier
Requirements
5+ years of hands-on QA/QE experience, including building and maintaining automated test frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright)
Experience testing both web and mobile applications in production environments
Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and how automated testing fits into them
Experience working in a marketplace, two-sided platform, or similarly fast-moving startup environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally across engineering, product, and support
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
