This commitment applies to all aspects of employment.\nOverall Purpose of Role:\nThe Procurement Manager is responsible for managing procurement activities across multiple projects, ensuring subcontractor and consultant packages are procured in line with programme, budget, quality and compliance requirements.\nThe role will support the Head of Procurement in improving processes, strengthening the supply chain, standardising ways of working and driving commercial value across the business.\nThe Procurement Manager will oversee complex procurement packages, provide support and guidance to junior team members, and ensure that procurement activities are managed proactively and consistently across all projects.\nSpecific Responsibilities:\nOverall Responsibilities\nSupport the Head of Procurement and other Procurement team members in the day-to-day running of the Procurement Department.\nTake lead in implementing departmental processes, procedures, trackers, reporting and procurement controls.\nManage, support and develop Procurement Co-ordinators, Procurement Assistants and other junior team members through training, mentoring and day-to-day guidance.\nContribute towards departmental objectives, KPI performance and continuous improvement initiatives.\nAssist with resource planning and workload allocation across the procurement team.\nPromote a collaborative, commercially focused and process-driven approach across the department.\nSupport the department by temporarily undertaking ad hoc duties as required.\nOperational Responsibilities\nLead the end-to-end procurement process for subcontractor, consultant and specialist supply and fit packages.\nManage high-value, high-risk and business-critical procurement packages across multiple projects.\nPrepare and issue tender enquiries, analyse quotations, carry out tender comparisons and make recommendations.\nNegotiate package scope, rates, preliminaries, programme requirements and contractual terms to achieve best value.\nReview subcontractor and consultant quotations to ensure scope gaps, exclusions and commercial risks are identified.\nEnsure all procurement packages are awarded in line with approved budgets, procurement schedules and programme requirements.\nEnsure subcontract orders, consultant appointments and associated documentation are issued accurately and in a timely manner.\nWork closely with the Commercial Team to ensure procurement decisions align with project budgets, cost plans and commercial strategy.\nSupport the Estimating Team with supply chain engagement, benchmark pricing and package comparisons.\nIdentify opportunities for cost savings, value engineering and improved procurement routes.\nAssist in the management of procurement schedules across live, PCSA, pre-construction and tender projects.\nMonitor package procurement status across all projects and escalate risks, delays or issues where required.\nSupport the Head of Procurement with reporting on procurement performance, supply chain issues, labour shortages and market conditions.\nWork closely with Regional Managers, Project Managers, Commercial Teams and Site Teams to ensure procurement activities align with programme requirements.\nAttend internal meetings, procurement meetings, subcontractor meetings and project review meetings as required.\nManage the day-to-day workload, priorities and performance of junior team members across live projects and tender activities.\nSupport operational teams with procurement-related issues, supply chain concerns and subcontractor performance matters.\nAssist with subcontractor onboarding and ensure project-specific requirements are communicated clearly.\nEnsure procurement trackers, schedules and internal systems are maintained accurately and updated regularly.\nEnsure procurement documentation is stored correctly and remains fully auditable.\nMaintain strong knowledge of façade remediation works, cladding systems, fire safety requirements, temporary works, scaffolding packages and Building Safety Act obligations.\nCollaborate With\nHead of Procurement\nCommercial Team / Quantity Surveyors / Estimators.\nProject Team (Regional Managers, Contract Managers, Project Managers, Site Managers)\nDesign Team\nHealth & Safety Team\nSub-contractors and
