This role will oversee all market-building activities in Hong Kong, with a focus on the stablecoin and real-world asset (RWA) sectors. You will be responsible for managing the full client pipeline, from prospecting to deal closure, while maintaining strategic relationships with institutions, financial service companies, and regulators. In addition to driving the sales pipeline, you will also play a critical role in shaping our brand in Hong Kong. This includes supporting marketing initiatives, participating in flagship conferences, and establishing thought leadership through an active offline presence. As the face of LayerZero in the market, you will represent our vision to the local ecosystem, ensuring we are viewed as the leading interoperability infrastructure provider in Hong Kong.\nThis is a high-impact role that requires a mix of strategic thinking, sales execution, and operational excellence. You have to be okay with that as we continue to grow and mature as an organization.\nWHAT YOU'LL DO\nMarket Leadership: Lead our Hong Kong operations, building and executing a strategy to expand our footprint in the stablecoin and RWA sectors.\nPipeline Ownership: Manage the entire sales pipeline from prospecting to deal closure, ensuring a consistent flow of high-quality opportunities.\nClient Management: Build and maintain strategic relationships with key institutional clients, financial service firms, and regulators.\nDeal Execution: Structure, negotiate, and close complex deals that drive adoption of our technology in Hong Kong.\nStakeholder Engagement: Represent the company in discussions with regulators, policymakers, and industry bodies to help shape the future of digital assets in the region.\nCross-functional Collaboration: Partner with internal BD, product, and solutions teams to deliver value to clients and ensure alignment with global priorities.\nMarket Development: Identify new opportunities across RWAs, stablecoins, and related sectors, acting as an entrepreneur within the organization.\nWHO YOU ARE\n6+ years of professional experience, with significant exposure to financial services, fintech, or digital assets.\nStrong understanding of stablecoins, RWAs, and the broader digital asset ecosystem.\nProven ability to manage full-cycle business development, from origination to deal closure.\nDeep experience in managing institutional relationships, including regulators and financial service companies.\nDemonstrated ability to operate with high agency in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.\nStrong sales acumen combined with operational rigor and strategic thinking.\nExceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence senior decision-makers.\nEntrepreneurial mindset with the ability to wear many hats and independently drive market development.\nProfessional proficiency in English is required, and fluency in Cantonese or Mandarin is a strong plus.\nA passion for building in the intersection of finance and technology.\nEqual Opportunity Employer\nLayerZero Labs is committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace.
